Maybe I could edit that you SHOULD get one fort pot before the IE but well dunno. It's not so much spam so much as IE costs 4000 gold, if they can't actually force you to fight multiple times over the duration of gathering 4000 gold they're doing something wrong. Not to mention by the time you get to it you've invested well over 6000 gold, again, if they can't force you to fight by that point they're doing something wrong. Master Yis at higher elos consistently have to chug double Fort/Agility as they work up to IE, and beyond, for every fight because they desperately need the extra HP, crit%, and attack speed. I'm not sure if Trynd needs to double pot as much (nor can he farm as fast, so he can less afford it) but it's usually going to be a good idea to hold onto at least a Fort Pot for every crucial battle. Mog! Are you disappearing tonight, or are you playing tonight?

Mog! Are you disappearing tonight, or are you playing tonight? The main problem is that you don't have a slot for it after the BF Sword so you get one before the BF and can't get one afterwards. Maybe you can sell the avarice and get another but I'm a cheapskate like that. Of course that makes sense and it's probably not a bad thing to do. Tryndamere has a gigantic base hp pool so he doesn't need the fort quite as much as Yi at that point, although you naturally want to have all the possible pots on at nearly all times after you get the IE. EDIT: Oh yeah, and you can normally get the IE in about 5-8 minutes depending on how well you farm, so that one fort pot should be enough for the duration. EDIT2: On July 13 2010 06:16 barbsq wrote: nice guide shikyo, ill have to try guinsoo's on trynd sometime :D more images will make it a little less 'wall of text'-y, but u already addressed that. Also, i happened to see a trynd open with fort pot+5hp pots (and he was reasonably good later during the game), wondering what you think of this. tbh though, i tend to be a pretty strong last-hitter, and if you're laning with a good support, i find there to be little need for two avarice blades, so i really would only get it if i have to sit passively in my lane the entire time, which would only happen if i didn't have someone supporting me AND the other team has very strong harass. in any case, props for a well written and very clear guide. It's an okay way to make sure that you don't get owned in the early game, although I don't really like it that much since it delays everything you need by so much. It's going to take you through the first 4-5 levels or so though, that are by far the toughest. I've never done that on Tryndamere, as he can't use the fort nearly as well as Shaco or Pantheon or Ashe or something might be able to. I don't think you can get a first blood even with the fort because Trynd's early game quite terrible even with it, and umm it delays the avarices so... It doesn't sound too amazing, but then again I have never tried it.

![]() I got to solo a very passive dinger top so it was an easy ride for me. I Had some very well placed ults (killed Maknoon at his tower when I hit level 6 with it LOL) Went tankplank because Maknoon really likes to jump on squishy people trying to farm in peace.

Regarding item counters; some heroes are impossible to defeat without disables, this is where a sheep stick or basher is needed, something that removes their ability to attack for a few seconds ie. sheep. So in the very likely case that your team has no disables, item's make up for that gap, and there are other item's to counter said disable already so it should be fine. And how about buffing thornmail, its so terrabad atm and isnt even a viable option half the time, obviously im going to say make it like blademail; magic resist counters the dmg return anyway, but a viable option to reflect damage and increase survivability is needed other then stacking health which means you have no armor, and stacking armor which means you have no health. my 2 cents.

Not knowing what the opponents heroes are until the game actually starts is just stupid, people can pick in the last second like they did for a while in HoN, but eventually will realise its stupid and just play properly, this is a must for pub games, blind pick can maybe stay for AT(as you are a team already and SHOULD be able to work cohesively), but other then that, picking heroes while not knowing what the opponent has, going into the game and realising you don't have any or enough disables to counter their heroes is just frustrating. Of course 1 repick should be allowed.
