OK guys, with the demise of Gozey, I'm going to (try to?) run a TL inhouse. Unlike Gozey, I'm going to try to mix things up a bit to keep things fun, since TL has a pretty diverse skill range. Sign up by November 12th, tournament on November 14th, Signups are individual. I will cut off at multiples of five. If I get 27 signups, the last two people to sign up will be dropped. PM me to sign up. Teams will be auto-generated based on ELO to keep things even. Series will be three games. Game 1: Teams will draft from the week's free champions (10 free champs means no bans). You are drafting for the OTHER TEAM. In other words, you want to pick the worst, weakest, most unbalanced composition possible. Standard 1-2-2-2-2-1 pick order. Game 2: Teams will take turns banning from the free champions, 1-2-1-1, with the team that lost game 1 going second (and getting 3 bans). This will leave 5 free champions remaining. Both teams will consist of these champions (mirror match). Game 3: ARAM! I'd like to use more than the free champs, but not everyone has everything, and keeping lists of who you can legally ban/force the other team to use based on who has what is too much of a hassle.

I guess what I really like about solo queue is that when you reach like 1600 elo you run into players you know. Sadly, there's also terrible players that you hate and when they show up on your team you just want to facepalm. I also enjoy having teamates call you trash and then you roflstomp them in arranged team ^_^

Fun... dude it's the internet you have to stop caring so much. don't give a shit when people tell you to do stuff don't take it personally probably the best advice you'll ever encounter in your journey of online gaming imo

Levels 1-7 I'm writing this guide because I found jungling akali to be stupid hard compared to other "legit" junglers. There's two really good youtube videos out there and I couldn't follow either of them. I dunno, maybe it's brain damage. So this is what works for me. Runes: Marks: Doesn't really matter too much. I'm thinking mpen might help more than anything else, but right now I'm running attack speed. Seals: I'm using flat armor seals. This keeps your HP high enough to do this effectively, although I haven't tested other setups. Glyphs: I'm using mres/lvl glyphs. It's nice to have that little boost late game for all the AoE's in the game right now. Quints: Quints for this build will be used to proc your passives (two of 'em if you don't know akali, One procs off 10 total AD or more, other procs off 20 total AP or more) 1 flat AD quint here. Can be tier 1 for cost savings. No need to spend the extra. 2 flat AP quints here. I'm using the halloween AP quints. Go me. Otherwise, you need tier 3 Alternatively you can have 2 HP or move speed quints and then have 9 flat AP glyphs intead of mres. Akali is a good chaser with a teleport and a slow, so move speed isn't as good on her as others. Still, personal preference for mres vs move speed. Masteries are pretty specific. 21/0/9 http://www.fieldsofjustice.com/mastery/#ZuawwHunaZyPqZlueZy The key points here are: 3 points in Archmages savvy for the AP/lvl needed to proc your passive 1 point in improved ignite to proc your passive 3 points in Brute Force for the 3 AD to proc your passive (see a trend?) 1 point in Havoc (21st offensive mastery) so you don't die to blue buff (Like I've done many many times trying to put less in offense) Summoner spells: Ignite Smite Skill order: QEQEQRW Starting items: Doran's blade Health pot level up your Q skill Mark of the Assassin Purchasing Doran's blade will give you just enough AD to proc your first passive, 10% spell vamp. So here's how the path goes for me... Since I've done so many stupid practice games it's actually extremely detailed. Dieing and restarting makes you rethink each detail. Start at small golems from a distance. Use Q and run in. Hit the golem once, smite, hit it again. This will cause you to get the absolute most HP from the spell vamp on smite. Finish the other golem. Using Q at the start from a distance gives you enough time on the cooldown to finish the second golem faster meaning one less hit on you. Level your E skill next Crescent Slash Tell mid to fuck off your XP and go to wraiths. When you are inside the wraith camp: hit your HP pot, ignite the big one, Q, E, auto attack twice and it will die. Igniting here will proc your second passive giving you more damage per swing. yay. finish off the rest of the wraiths. Go kill wolves. You should have about 320+ HP. Once you kill them, you should have 420+ due to leveling up and spell vamp. Kill blue golem. Use smite early for max HP return, or leave it for last hit if you're paranoid. Akali jungles very quickly though, faster than olaf at least by about 5 seconds, so I wouldn't worry about the other jungler if he's not there yet. Go back to small golems. You should have about 250-300 HP and they will spawn about 2 seconds after you arrive in the camp. Again, use your Q at range and kill one of them. If you still have 120+ HP then kill the other one easily. If you feel good about yourself, kill the minions at red buff now. Go back and heal. ** Now, do Red -> wraiths -> wolves. Use your smite on red buff, but don't use ignite. You should be level 5. Go back and heal. ** ** I have no idea what to buy here, but I've tried boots+dagger+2HP+ward as well as a blasting wand+2HP. Both work. Go kill dragon! ignite to start, smite whenever and just DPS him down. He dies pretty quickly. Usually you will have enough HP to continue jungling until you hit level 7, then you are on your own. Akali can't gank effectively until 6-7 in my opinion. 6 you'll get your ult for chasing and 7 you'll get your slow. Good Luck.

Seems like it would help in the jungle quite a bit and have you considered starting with red / blue pot instead of the doran's blade? Also, if you are going that far into offense Imp Rally might be better then ignite because the AD and AP it gives is enough to proc both passives IIRC

Can't use it at all in the jungle...
