Panth n Kennen took top, Janna's all I NEED MID D=< and so was Morde so they both took Mid, so Im stuck having to take on AListar & Urgot solo. You probably shouldda gone mid too at that point. But basically you don't lane against Urgot, Urgot dominates in lane. If you don't have a healer of some kind he basically wins the lane by standing in it. If you can bait his E (the attack which lets his Q lock on to you) then you get a few seconds which you can last hit in. As tyrnd you should go in to last hit, then spinning slash OUT once you see him beginning to attack. As a melee champion you will find it hard to do much of any farming while he is around and if you are soloing against him best of luck to you. Even 2v1 against him is challenging. So your saying I shoulda just given em the obttom lane and be bitched at for not protecting it?
No no no my unimaginative friend, you should have gone mid and said "hey look guys, opportunity for solo farm bottom" and watched them both go there instead of mid and fixed your problem.

I don't see that matchup as being lost, particularly if Olaf knows well enough how to jungle. There are plenty of reasonable ways that could play out in which you'd win.
Good Olafs abuse poor players pretty damn hard.

lantern is perfectly fine
the only jungling hero i would never get it on is amumu haha
1-14-15 with max harden skin, defensive mastery, and quickness and 2 neut buff
builds are typically matchup dependent, against a TF i might pick up some extra health pots on my first/second b in order to not get ulted -> yellow carded -> die
but i like cloth5pot into madreds razor + boots (which will become swifties)
the razor into a lantern, BR if the opponent team is super tanky
tank items as needed

etc.

a lot of ppl like to open hog instead of razor on olaf. Idk for sure whats the best, since i dont even own loaf, but imo both openings are fairly solid. Dont think you need lantern necessarily, kus imba spellvamp + lifesteal means you're blazing thru the jungle with blue. Randuins is solid, so are veil, sunfires, etc.

if im getting razors, im 100% getting lantern since the free ward is huge(and its only 500?g) more so after 6 wards its paid for itself :D

I dont really like brutalizer on olaf since your main damage is from e, which does true dmg. Armor pen doesn't do too much.

Spirit Visage if you want but I mean, Omen + Blue buff is decent enough cdr. Rest you just get a lot of HP and maybe Atmas if game goes long.

let's fast forward into the game to level 18, where ezrael has merc treads and nothing else, so he's got about 60 mres. i chose sorc boots, so i've got 28.5 flat magic pen. without the mastery i'll be doing 76% damage. garen, however, geared up to tank and is making a beeline for my carry. he's got 175 mres and i have to burst him down as fast as i can. unfortunately my spells only have 40.6% damage now. gg miss fortune.
had i taken the %mpen penetration, i'd be doing 78.9% damage to ezrael, approximately a 3% damage increase from when i didn't take the mastery. to garen, however, i'll be doing 44.5% damage, a 4% increase.... still gg miss fortune. You are horrendously bad at math.
Going from 40.6 to 44.5% damage isn't a 4% increase. Its a 9.12% increase. The % increase in damage coming from the mastery is measured from the value without the mastery, not against a target with 0 mres.
You made this mistake pretty much everywhere in your post.
