anyways, since there seems to be interest, i will update my urgot guide with a new item build, since thats about all i've really tweaked recently. Also working on an atmas centered build with him, tho i like the cost of manamune more than atmas, and urgot doesnt really need the crit but w/e. edit: WHOA just realized that the synergy between grenade, last whisper, and q is insane, both grenade and LW are ARMOR REDUCTION which means that they have perfect synergy. Not to mention that last whisper works with missile now *shivers with excitement* i will report back on how great it feels in game next time i try.

![]() I could not stop laughing during the entire game... Spamming shrooms is so much more viable now that you can store 3 of them. :D That darn 1 assist was from a tower kill that gave soraka credit for some reason. ![]()

Those were basically my thoughts for him, though I disagree with Tri Force since it benefits your primary source of damage (Q) less then other items, and would prefer FM for the slow if you were worried about your shield not being able to perma slow someone. I wish his ult lasted longer then 3 seconds though because that is rather short if your timing is even slightly off. I have an AP / Tank hybrid build on Sion which is what I would build on him if I did that, since their Ws are similar (minus the exploding part) they serve as your primary "health pool" allowing you to just worry about AP and resistances. That's just it, I'm not really worried about the shield slow falling off, it's the rest of Tri force that I like. The extra 150% damage on autoattack is simply amazing, everything else is honestly an added bonus. Frozen mallet is nice for survivability I suppose if I want a tankier Urgot but the slow is redundant. I'm honestly not even sure it stacks with his ability slow. If I were to forget about triforce then, aside from Atma's I don't know what else to build. IE seems to be too much effort for little reward (crit is useless)...maybe Bloodthirster? I think the lifesteal applies to acid hunter iirc... As for Urgot's ult, sometimes I find it useful simply for the stun component. And I think I'm going to try a hybrid AP/tank Urgot tonight and see if he's as hard to kill as my megatank Amumu. edit: WHOA just realized that the synergy between grenade, last whisper, and q is insane, both grenade and LW are ARMOR REDUCTION which means that they have perfect synergy. Not to mention that last whisper works with missile now *shivers with excitement* But how much Arpen/reduction is too much? I mean with marks/quints + bruta + grenade is LW really necessary? I mean the attack speed is ok on him but from the recent Ad/Arpen rune analysis Urgot already has the perfect amount of Arpen to rip up carries, and stacking more Arpen instead of AD wouldn't help him bring down tanks any faster.

I tried to do that this afternoon and had some really epic kills. Had a 20 stack Mejals and nearly 700 AP, but the enemies had brains and got a bit of MR and then I was useless Sadly, most of my Mejal stacks were gained while I was dead... Post-death stacks are best stacks...you can't lose them!

I bought the piercing screech ones thinking they would be Apen but they turned out to be Mpen, im guessing bountiful treats=gold, speedy specter=MS and elusive werewold=dodge, am I correct? And what is the witches brew one? The tooltips of each are empty for me... Screech = Mpen Bountiful treats = HP Specter = MS Witches = AP Elusive = Dodge

He's definitely a nifty champion, but he's really micro-intensive. I often found myself following up the easy bits in team fights (E->(R)->W) by screwing something up -- not counting auto-attacks, not using shuriken on the right person, etc. Laning with him is also weird. He feels sorta like Xin -- you have to know when diving in and trading combos is a win, and when it's a loss. I desperately, desperately miss my SoS on him. I don't think there's a better laning mastery, and not having it really stings.

on the other hand, it didnt seem to do too much more vs squishies, so if you're gunning to be an anticarry, its not gonna help a whole lot, altho the aspeed boost is quite nice.

It means that Jax is at his best fighting against champsthat rely upon their autoattack for doing damage (like Master Yi). It also means that Jax is at his weakest against enemies that rely upon using their skills for doing damage (like all mages/casters). The trick with Jax is learning when to engage. You can't initiate fights. If you're the first one in, you'll be CC'd, focused, and nuked to death.
