Part 1: You may be one of those people who thinks that just because I'm Chinese that I can rice better than all of yous. And that's partly to do with it. But there's another reason-it's because creeps follow a very predictable pattern (seeing as how they are, in fact, cpu) and will let you abuse: A) Not Fucking Up Your Lane So you're in a lane. Doesn't matter if its a solo or not, here's some very basic rules. #1) Learn How to Last-Hit. If you don't know how to do this I have some hints for you: i) attack creeps with very low hp (so you can kill them and get moneys) ii) make sure that you hit the right creep iii) make sure you don't expose yourself in the process iv) if you're at the tower, here's an easy way to kill creeps: unless your damage is 65+, hit all full hp creeps once before/as they come into tower range. That way when the tower starts attacking them you can get the last hit 100% of the time. If you have more than 65 damage you only need to hit the ranged creeps once before they come into tower range, unless you have over like 100 damage in which case you can kill them after one tower hit. Another hint: the tower likes to attack the creeps closer to the side of the lane that it's on. If the tower is on the left-side, it will attack the creeps on the left first (unless the creeps are attacking you or something).If it's on the right side, however, then it will attack the creeps on the right side. So If you are blue and top lane, it will hit left side creeps first. If you are purple and top lane, it will hit right side creeps first. (right side to the tower, anyways) #2) Know when to push (i.e. autoattack) the lane, and when to last hit. Times when to push: a) enemies are dead b) enemies are in another lane c) your idiot teammate pushed the lane and the enemy team is purely last hitting d) if the lane is closer to their side and the enemy jungler probably can't kill you. Even if the lane is at the enemy tower, push harder-you want to reset the minion wave so that both waves reach the half-way point like they would at the very beginning e) if the lane is very close to your tower and the enemy is autoattacking f) when shaco and heimer and teemo are very obviously setting up a massive trap in the bush Times when to last-hit (and therefore, zone): a) creeps are closer to your side b) when you have people in the bush to prevent the enemy from getting close c) when you're miss fortune/ezreal/ashe/some other ranged dps d) when you're afraid of a gank e) when the enemy is in the bush Oh and one more thing-let's say you've been a good boy and the creeps are on your side. Do not fucking let the creeps get close to your tower unless there are an asston of them. Autoattack them, bait them away from the tower, do something, just don't let the tower shoot at them. This will cause your reinforcement minion wave to attack them right at the outside of the turret's range, allowing you to free-last hit and harass the enemy without fear of repercussions. Also, you don't have to deal with a garen in the bush. Continuation in Next Part: How to farm in mid-game. | ||

Part II Mid-Game Farming This is very easy. a) find creeps, preferably as far from the enemy as possible. Like for instance between the burning ruins of your first tower and your second tower. b) push the lane down to where the enemy's first tower is, or to where you feel comfortable. The harder you push the wave, the bigger the enemy wave when the creeps push back. While waiting for the enemy huge wave, you either go push another lane or threaten a teamfight. If you can threaten a teamfight, you prevent the enemy from being able to farm that huge wave pushing down a lane. This means that you can prevent the enemy from farming while you are mowing down creeps left and right. c) don't forget how to last hit, use it even if you're pushing. As garen, for example, I push by spinning, but i will cancel my spin to attack a low hp creep that I feel won't get killed by my spin. Similarly, as morde, I will specifically attack creeps that I feel are in the right timing to get hit, but likely will not get killed by my spinning poop. d) rinse wash repeat until you have 300 creeps by 30 mins e) use ur money to buy epic items and rape the shit out of the enemy team f) If the enemy is pressuring a tower feel free to run off and farm a wave, especially if you're fast like Miss Fortune or are a strong pusher like Sivir or Mordekaiser. Your team can hold. It's only when multiple people leave to farm that we have an issue. Hell if the enemy is dumb enough to hang out there for a while you can probably get a tower or two. | ||

But what I said isn't wrong. Too often, players leave lanes completely open. If your team isn't total donks (and haven't been feeding all game), you can leave them 4 + inner tower vs 5 enemy team sieging. If I'm the carry, I would go farm that 1.5+ waves of creep in that top lane instead of rushing for that lizard. Of course, be wary of ganks. 5 sieging your tower is ok time to rice up. When all 5 are MIA and dragon is about to come up, probably not a good idea to rice that top open lane, etc. And my biggest advice (and possibly pet peeve) to players: don't fucking overextend in a lane. Jesus christ, so simple yet so hard for some kids. | ||
