your opponent takes a strong jungler first pick. you expect them to go 1-1-2 +jungle would taking 3 champs with stuns, a good solomid, and a good 1v2 be an effective counter? assume you put your three stunners (panth+sion+taric?) top verse the 1. dude is effectively neutralized. he tries to get a last hit you triple stun kill him and push the tower immediately. after the fast tower kill you send one of them to the jungle/bottom. if they are smart they send jungler to help lane instead of losing tower... effectively neutralizing their jungle. you respond by putting one of your tri-lane (panth?) in your own jungle. any time their jungler leaves he returns to lane to force their jungler out to help the solo. it would really throw a team off-rhythm i dunno i just watched some dota/hon stuff and they're mostly running 3-1-1 lanes now and it seems really effective \o/ | ||

The attackspeed reduction is a big deal, though. I haven't played much malphite so I'm not qualified to comment on how he scales, but in general DPS starts to overtake tanks late-game. | ||

With effective zoning, the solo champion will miss out on the xp of creeps that don't die near his tower, and while both sides will have a much lower cs (the duo to minimize lane pushing), the level difference will be very small. notes: Nasus/morgana/some other champs are still very good 1v2 even when zoned having a jungler is still optimal, not killing jungle creeps is like throwing away exp there is an intentional typo in this post | ||
