All those things require lots of work, yet don't produce any direct income, since they would be all for free. All those resources could be spent on like 8 new heroes and three times as much new skins, which are likely to make much more money. that's why the development of LoL gets hindered so much, Riot always have to choose which each update whether to earn more money or to make the game a bit better and they have to choose balance between those. If the playerbase still increases and riot makes a more controlled revenue they might add more to the game besides heroes and skins, considering they can't pump out more then one hero each week. | ||

After rylai's I usually follow up with GA or zhonya's depending on how the game is going; but it's not too common for games to get that far. 3 things: 1) don't get mejai's unless you know you can get 6 stacks relatively quickly. 6 stacks is when it become economically efficient, and if you're 0-2, it's not wise to put that money into mejais. i would even say if you're 0-0-0, don't bother with mejais because you haven't PROVEN you can get those stacks, don't even waste your time, get the blasting wand instead. that's why i delay my mejai's until after catalyst + boots, because really adding only 20 AP for 1200 gold (when you first buy it) isn't worth it unless i've proven i can get kills on the enemies with 0 extra AP. i also find it acceptable to go ruby gem+sapphire gem -> mejais, and skip the combo component of catalyst because i'm not impressed by it so much that i HAVE to have it. 2) don't get rylai's on annie. you blow through your spells so fast in order to build up stuns that often you will just blow your Cone into the open air while you're approaching a battle. you always want to have tibbers on a stun, so there's 1 spell you'll never use with rylai's, and molten shield will never apply rylai's (wait.... now that i think about it, does the return damage apply rylai's slow? i don't think so but can anyone confirm?) and cone gives only a 15% slow. so basically you'd be buying rylais for disintegrate... invest that money in RoA instead and if you already have RoA, invest it in a second RoA. The slow means nothing to stun-bot annie 3) i don't open doran's ring on her ever \o/ | ||

Getting Meijai stacks isn't hard. Just play it safe and you'll naturally get stacks from assists. Especially if you're someone like Karthus who can just "R" for free stacks. | ||
