Yep, once CLG banned TF, EU was forced to team fight instead of pushing 3 lanes at once. And Phreak trolling till the end. Network programmer designing a new champ, lol. Game designer trying to produce networking code, ROFL. An aside: game design is a relatively small part of champion creation. Art is significant, and yes, that's parallel to coding. That said, actually coding up the champion is a big deal, too (this doesn't have to be the case with a good codebase, but Riot's many diverse bugs indicate that each champion skill is being coded almost entirely separately). The real point, however, is that you don't spend people-hours on creating a game, you spend money. If you're spending money on enough artists and game design folks to churn out champions so rapidly instead of spending it on engine coders*, well, that's your choice. But it's my choice to bitch about that distribution of resources. *I'm not quite sure where "network programmer" came from. This is all about logging each engine action in a reasonable way and being able to replay those logs. Transmitting them is trivial.

Euro commentator should have shit talked back for hype imo. Exactly, its not like there wasn't one there.
