I messaged her yesterday and got a reply within five minutes.. No need, it works on my home computer. I'm just happy i'm not retarded :D I really have no idea why it doesnt on the other one haha. It might be a font issue, which happens pretty often with RPGMaker games. But good that you got it working anyways.

Title: Last Scenario Type: Japanese Role-Playing Game Platform: Windows only More info: This is an 2D old-school RPG (a la Final Fantasy 6 and below) made by SCF Works. It features an excellent story and challenging gameplay just perfect for people who find most RPGs to be too easy. The story starts off a little slow but before you know it, it takes off. I would say more, but really you need to play the game to appreciate just how solid and well-done it is for a free RPG. NOTE: On Windows Vista/7, you will need to download RGSS103J.DLL in order to see the text. It may be an inconvenience but it's well worth it to play this game. The instructions are below: 1. Download RGSS103J.DLL, I have found several different ones, but this one works: http://www.filecrop.com/RGSS-DLL.html [It is at the top of the list] 2. Open Game.ini in your game directory 3. On the second line, adjust Library=RGSS102E.DLL to Library=RGSS103J.DLL After saving the changes, the text should show up from then on for Vista users. Happy Gaming. Screenshots: ![]() ![]() ![]() ---------------------- ---------------------- Title: Exit Fate Type: Japanese Role-Playing Game Platform: Windows only More info: This is another RPG made by SCF Works (same maker as Last Scenario) which follows a slightly different style of gameplay. Your party is made up of 6 people, and there are literally dozens and dozens of characters that can join your party. It is very similar to the Suikoden series if you have played that. While this game isn't as hard as Last Scenario, it still poses a fair challenge. About the story, it is very in-depth and intriguing, I'll just say that. Also worth mentioning is the sub-theme of managing armies. Sprinkled through the game is a Final Fantasy Tactics-style minigame where you take control of a squadron of troops to destroy the enemy force (see last screenshot). Like Last Scenario, Exit Fate is of excellent quality and I highly recommend it. Screenshots: ![]() ![]() ![]()

It's a mixture of various elements from other FPS: Maps and weapons are modelled realistically, quite like Counter-Strike, while preserving Q3 movement like strafejumping and adding new tricks like walljumping, climbing up ledges etc. There are lots of gamemodes like FFA, TDM, CTF, Bomb Mode (like CS) Team Survivor and more. I have enjoyed this game for a very long time. As a former CS player, i liked the faster gameplay and bigger emphasis on movement/trickjumping in UrT. I'm going to vouch for this. It looks like a basic Red vs Blue shooter game. Except that people can sprint and jump so fast they leave trails, giving it very different mechanics from the standard shooter and amplifying the differences between the weapons.

These two free RPGs are better than most of the ones I've paid money for And I was like ("\(^_^)/") But then I saw check them out if you have any interest in older FF-style games at all And I was like m(T_T)m Do all JRPGs run on the same stuff? Seriously, every single game within this genre I see has: 1. "Talking portraits" 2. HP/MP/XP/SPECIAL bars 3. Encounter-like team vs team turn based combat (usually with multiple instances of the same creature) 4. Doesn't really matter what you do, the story remains the same 5. Always teams (usually with some underage girls), basically never a one-man experience 6. No real choice as to the main character Damn, how I loathe this genre ![]()

And yeah, basically it's a linear story without replay value. However there's stuff like Laxius Force that has 200 hours or so of extra content but it isn't free(the first 3 games of the series are though). I really would love to play a side-scroller 2d action RPG, I guess there's absolutely none, though.

I absolutely LOVE Telepath RPG. Idk why, but it's just addicting to me, lol. It's basically like a free Fire Emblem. ![]()

http://www.igneousgame.com/ ![]() Igneous is an action platformer where you play as a tiki totem trying to escape from a raging volcano. By running and jumping, players have to navigate their way through dark caverns, forge raging lava rivers and cross crumbling bridges to make it out of the inferno alive. With stunning graphics and intense physics, each level is a new challenge to overcome. Easy to pick up, but hard to master, Igneous is an adventure you won't soon forget! Escape! thanks day9 for introducing this game a while bak.

![]() Type: Puzzle/Reaction/Skill.. it's a Super Monkey Ball clone with bonus minigolf. Available platforms: Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, FreeBSD, Dreamcast, AmigaOS 4 and iOS System requirements: Hardware accelerated OpenGL. Runs on just about any computer using minimum settings. More info thanks to wikipedia: The main gameplay of Neverball is based on moving a ball using gravity by tilting the game world, not directly controlling the ball. The level must be tilted to help guide the ball to a goal, via an obstacle course, with a set time limit. Moving platforms and other objects get in the way, making levels progressively harder. ![]() ![]() ![]()
