It's just not fun playing when you don't know all the pokemon. Golden Sun (and the sequel) were some of the best games I've ever played. So many great memories.

http://www.filb.de/1332 + Show Spoiler + Personally I think 3vs3 is a bit much. In 2vs2 there are some attacks that hit more than one opponent like Surf which hits the allied pokemon and the other two enemy pokes but it has it's damage reduced. 3vs3 seems like it would be even more about multi target moves.

Assuming moves work similarly to before, my Surf and Discharge will just hit and kill every other pokemon.... this goes against the fundamental challenge of FFA - choosing who to attack. I wonder the same thing.... although I think I remember a friend of a friend of mine chose grass for GSC. ------------------------------- What I think will happen: - A Dragon type eeveevolution is likely. This is the only elemental type left which Eevee cannot evolve to. A Dragon type Eevee will most likely have its 130 stats on Attack. A pure Dragon type is pretty overpowered though... -> Since Grass type Eevee is possible, I don't see why Dragon type Eevee is not; however, another possible scenario is that a new elemental type is introduced. - The following type combination becomes possible: Fire+Water or Grass or Ice (since we already have Flying+Ground...), Normal+Ground (or some other kind of Normal+XXX combination which XXX is not Water or Psychic), There are also some other predictable stuffs. For example, - Each generation has a cute normal type pokemon that can be caught early in the game; e.g. Sentret. - Each generation has a Normal/Flying small bird pokemon that can be caught early in the game and evolves into a slightly above average pokemon, e.g. Starly - Each generation have a pure Electric type pokemon with decent evolutions that can be caught relatively early, e.g. Mareep, Electrike, Shinx - Each new generation introduces new evolutions and preevolutions of pre-existing pokemon. So we might be able to see baby forms of Pincer, Heracross, Lapras, Kangaskhan, Tauros, and/or Miltank; on the other hand, we might be able to see evolutions of Dunsparce, Corsola, Luvdisc, and/or a male version of Kangaskhan. - A fisherman trainer with only Magikarps :D -

The only reason to pick the fire starter every game is cause.. game freak tends to enjoy not giving you fire pokemon till waaaaaaaaaay late in the game when your pokemon are already 10 levels above them OR the pokemon are just total garbage.
