Pwning E4 with lvl 47 ftw response in spoiler+ Show Spoiler + yup, because you can beat lvl 70 pokemon with level 47 with just strategy... oh wait... ![]() People are talking about second run of E4, where you beat them the first time and then they jump from level ~45 to lvl ~70 and every trainer has level 65 pokemon, and every pokemon in grass is level 55 or higher ![]()

I guess they didn't want to make catching the poster-legendaries too difficult (considering it's almost required, in order to beat the final guy). I got Reshiram in less than 5 ultra balls with about 15-20% with Paralyze on it.

The same as Dialga and Palkia from DPPt Most Legendaries (the trios, Kyurem, any legendary not integral to the story) have a catch rate of 3. Hell the Pseudo-Legendaries in this game (Metagross, Tyranitar, Dragonite, Milotic) all have catch ratings of 3.

If you kill it or it kills you you have to repeat until you get it, so that's why they made it so ezpz.

Right now I'm playing as a bug catcher, just sucks that I need to get to 2nd gym before I can catch a bug type pokemon... but ya. After this going to play though as: - (poke enthusiast) Only 1 pokemon + flying mule - (go go ratata) Catch something before 1st gym and treat as my starter - (poke fanatic) catch 6 of the same pokemon and use only them all game, never having a 5 lvl difference between any two of them - (naturalpath) No potions - (meiser) never buy anything in store dunno in what order though...

OR if you have a second DS, after each of the above playthroughs buy the Magikarp and trade it over and then do a legit Dumbass Fisherman build with 6 magikarps! i do have 2 DS's (mine and my gfs) and i could do that... well I also have all of gen 4... so I can play through as anything if I really wanted to. Willing to take on more suggestions if anyone else have some good ones ![]()

Speaking of which, this game had no Bug Catcher trainers ![]() Edit: Do a Hiker build. Just Rock/Ground/Fighting. Oh yeah, they also made the AI for Zekrom retarded. I used Excadrill on it, and the Zekrom just kept using Fusion Bolt >.>

Just Rock/Ground/Fighting. well we have a: Bug + rock Bug + Steel Bug + Electric Bug + Grass so its a lot easier then any other gen...
