Im playing with my controller. DP(Dragon Punch) motions are bah to do on controllers. It works, but its annoying.
Im going to get an arcade stick, it allows you to do the combos much faster imo. Your thumb "traveling" to press a diffrent button causes a little delay between taps, while with an arcade stick its just a finger tap instead of thumb travel.
Just get the game check it out with a controller, if you really want to get into it get a stick.

If you're comfortable with it, you can make it work
Really? I didn't thought that was the case..
you can make inputs faster and more precise on a stick in comparison to a pad but regardless its still fun to play I also think all those quarter circles and dragon punches on a pad hurts your hands after awhile and last but not least PS3 Pad > 360 pad when it comes to comfort for fighting games.
^_^ Tokido is suppose to compete in Final Round next week and apparently he is taking MvC3 really serious. Can't wait to see what he bring in the table.

Because in the end its the cheapest you can get a standardized Sanwa TE for. SE (Standard Edition) are usually of bad quality and just don't feel good. TE (Tournament Edition) is the standard and Hori can't compete with the price.
I don't know how much truth there is to this but the hitbox might be able to register both block directions against cross ups in MvC3. doesn't mean the guy using the hitbox was using such an exploit though.

It's like playing GT5 without a wheel, it's possible to a point.
I held a couple of world #1 lap times in GT5:P and some euro #1s in GTHD (was region based), all on pad.
There are pros and cons in gt and overall a wheel is an advantage, but you can certainly compete on all but the most wheel-favoured tracks.
