I think there are better options than that, level 3 xfactor ANYONE can pull off a reverse OCV, dark phoenix does more damage yes but if i'm relying on one character to reverse ocv i'd go with sentinel anyways since he's safe and it doesn't take 5 meteres just to make him average, plus he can be used for assist unlike phoenix. | ||

I think there are better options than that character though. Having a maximum level rage mode on any character tends to be able to pull off a reverse one character victory (think of a reverse all kill in proleague, its like that). Phoenix does more damage than other characters yes, but with only 50% the hp of the next lowest hp character in game, and 1/3rd that of the highest hp character, its not a safe bet to rely on her to pull off a reverse all-kill. I'd rather go with the bigass gigantic motherfucking powerful robot named Sentinel, since he doesn't take level 5 super (which needs to be accumulated throughout the whole match) to be average. Plus, mid game sentinel can be used with an assist move, whereas Phoenix can't be viably used with her assist move as she can lose all her life while trying to help out. | ||

sentinel also has huge damage with x factor isnt a glass cannon like pheonix has a useful assist and doesnt need to be used with 5 meter for dark pheonix so is way more versatile than her. | ||

Healing field heals your red life when your opponent is contacting it. It has nothing to do with damage done during the super. Also Sent 3rd is definitely worse than Phoenix 3rd. Assist-less sentinel can easily get opened up while assist-less Dark Phoenix is fine with her ridiculous lockdown and pressure game. | ||

I didn't say sentinel should be the 3rd character, he's great on point, 2nd OR third though, but in xfactor he's way scarier than dark phoenix in my opinion. x fac sent by himself won't really take chip and can fuck you up in one extremely easy to pull off combo. | ||

From what I have seen in yesterday's day, this is very true. I don't remember who, I think it was cl0ckwork who was using Phoenix and despite being able a lot of damage as dark phoenix lvl3 x-fact she's still pretty squishy and less dangerous compared to a lvl3 x-fact Sent which does an insane amount of damage with just a basic 2-hit combo and can reverse OCV an entire team. | ||

Sentinel is a better third. He has a great assist and really high hp. I already mentioned in this thread why i think phoenix will never be good enough to make up for her low hp. I did miss most of yesterday's steam and i still haven't seen a really good phoenix yet though. | ||

I wish the matchmaking was a little better, but it tends to be more latency based than skill based. While the win streaks im getting are definitely an epeen boost, I feel bad for the legitimately new players I get matched up against and I really need to practice against some people who can block well to get myself ready for a tourney this friday. Finding some interesting storm stuff, but I can't seem to get in much to use it lol | ||
