Ezreal does the dance that features in the ending of the first season of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu.

I've not yet encountered the new TF yet, but I've been wanting to play him. Anyone have any good build ideas?

seems like nashor's tooth pairs nicely with his new passive. maxed passive + nashor's tooth = +60% AS and -40% CD. I don't know exactly how hurt his other abilities are by making them less buggy and reducing the AP ratios, but I would probably do something like sheen, boots, nashor's tooth, merc treads, lich's bane, focusing on the passive first (something like eweqer, to e > w > q > r (since as far as I can tell, his ult only gets lower CD, which doesn't seem all that important with 40% CD redux)). GRB is also an interesting prospect on him now IMO, though I'm not sure it would be worth it.

At least that's how I look at it. I see him as a sort of ranged Jax with a teleport at this point. I would be focusing on harassing my balls off early with the new passive and abusing PaC's blue card giving you mana back to fuel constant PaCs and WCs to abuse quick sheen.

I think you could build him much the way you used to build him, but I think you'd be feeling the nerfs pretty hard.

actually, as I'm thinking about it, it's almost too easy to get to 40% CD reduction on him, so nashor's might just be a giant waste of money depending on your masteries/runes. Fast Sword of the Divine is actually probably the best way to abuse his passive.

I've played with/against the new guy. He's weird. The problem is that his skills don't fully synergize, so if you go AP you're like a bad Annie. If you go DPS, though, his skills don't hit very hard, so you're just...mediocre.

Edit: I should also point out that, much like Ryze or Veigar, this build has a lot of problems with veil/sivir's spellshield.

The new TF hits really, REALLY hard early game. He's obviously a DPS char now, and he seems to be really good at it. I've yet to see him played well, but even played badly he's a pain. Played well he MIGHT be as bad as he was 2 patches ago...

Edit: Oh, and movement speed quints are handy. The key is post-team-fight chases. I've only got 3% (not L30 yet, so 2 quints), but that can matter.

I just played with him and got SEVERLY fucked up by a Veigar mid early. Stupid ass Event Horizon stuns for like 1000 years and it's really gay and I don't know how to deal with it without my precious spell shield :p. That being said, I was still outputting buttloads of damage with sheen and Sword of the Divine and somehow managed to salvage a game that started like 1/9. I think going with a more AD orriented build is neccessary now though... I went lich bane that game, but in retrospect, I think Trinity Force is better on him, and I think I probably would've done better in the game opening something like malady after sheen to just play off of Stacked Deck. Hell, I think if I played him again, I'd do something like sheen, boots, malady, treads, LW, GRB or something, that's just the impression I'm getting for how to play him. Oh and they lied in the patch notes, Stacked Deck only does 60 at level 1 :'(.

Yeah, TF is very much a DPS now. Sheen is almost certainly good, Rageblade seems like a good idea, but I would also consider Soul Shroud. Since TF is more DPSy now, he also needs items that make him a bit less squishy, and the CD reduction allows you to stun/slow/ult more often.

well, as southlight pointed out, a typical mastery/rune setup for TF will accidentally get 30% CD redux without any items, so I think it's not worth investing in soul shroud. I think going phage with the intent to later get trinity force is a better solution to squishiness. Add in Veil in the mid game if you need it and you should be good to go.

EDIT: and there's no almost about sheen being good. It's not like he was triggering it with gate all that much back in the day, so not much has changed about why sheen is godly on him. oh and blue cards give you mana back, so you can actually just spam the shit out of PaC and WCs (with you accidental 30% CD redux too!) for sheen triggers on pretty much every other attack, even just when farming.

all I know is that it seemed like I was stunned for like 5 seconds every time I ran into his Event Horizon.

rofl, ok, did some research and EH is currently reapplying it's stun every second that you're in the AoE, which is to say that if you get hit with it at the beginning of it, you get stunned for like, 7 seconds or something retarded like that. boy oh boy do I feel a lot better about getting my shit pushed in by veigar now :p. This also actually means that merc treads don't impact the duration while it's still up and you can't cleanse or scurvy your way out of it, lol. Damn, riot screwed the pooch with letting that one out.

And to answer your question, yes, he is hugely broken with it. 7 second AoE stun is like, pretty good or something.

what's hard about playing mundo? throw cleavers, run around really fast with no regard for CC, hit really hard. seems simple to me unless I'm missing something.
