I feel like quitting the game before it starts when my team picks them. You keep playing without me :'( I guess I'ma hafta get revenge by playing Pantheon.
You don't want to play with baikin anymore. Srs, he is bad. Until he can prove me other wise I will ignore all stats.
YOU HEAR THAT BACONMAN. YOU SUCKS.

Oh noes, a Brit is swooping in with the trashtalking.
I'm so close to unlocking Udyr, gar.

I play too. SkytoM - SkytoM
LvL 24 now.

WHAT!? YOU SAY I SUCK!? OMG!!!
Flicky ur wrong sir the only reason i'm sucking when we play is because you bring the bad luck to us. We can be owning, and all the sudden ur bad luck hits and one of us disconnects or lags making the game a 4v5! we also will have 1 feeder who is usually good but ONLY when you play they start feeding! ITS ALL B/C OF YOU!
YOU HEAR THAT FLICKY!? YOU BRING BAD LUCK!

It's also luck when I snare someone and you miss your hook.

God this blows I've lost 9 out of my last 10 games
The worst part is that I've been positive in almost all of them, >2:1 in some of them. Yes, it's a team game, but it's not that I'm not being a team player, I just keep having people on my team that feed ridiculously. I just played a game with a shaco that went 0-6-0. Like really? You couldn't even get a single assist? That means you were completely useless the entire game.

Its really just the nature of the game, you can't predict how people will play with certain champs in a given situation :/ Either premade or roll the dice with MM.

fucking shit tho I just ran with a premade that some guy on my friends list invited me to. After the game starts he informs me everyone on the team is like level 5....
So I'm anivia and I'm doing anivia vs anivia mid and I'm outplaying the shit out of the enemy anivia. I get her to blow her egg while I'm still at half hp and haven't blown mine, and then as the game progresses while we're dueling the pirate on the other team uses his ult on me and it gets me into my egg and then single handedly kills my egg (lol gotta love the randomness of his ult and where the cannonballs happen to fall!). Unfortunately the TF on my team is too fucking stupid to use his ult and port in to kill the enemy anivia who has <100 hp and no egg even after I tell him to do it three times.
I can't fucking stand playing with these retards. I just left the game because everyone on my team was a fucking moron. I'm so tired of the incompetence. As it happened only some of the tema was low level, and the TF was level 30. Like how fucking dumb do you have to be to get to level 30 and still not know how to use TF's ult to get easy free kills every time it's off CD?
/rant
The game is so much fun and is so addicting but I can't stand the retards that play it. One of the reasons starcraft is so fantastic and fun to play is that you can play 1v1 and you don't have to rely upon others' skills. 2v2 is also a lot of fun, but once it gets up to 5v5 relying upon 4 other people gets really annoying unless you have a set group of people you always play with and can trust.

Not to mention that sometimes premades go badly. Just ask -orb-. Who was that guy who was playing heimer?

which game? What's ur ingame name?
Every heimer i've seen since patch has done awful rofl. He was already a pretty bad champion and the range nerf on his missiles (the only good thing he had going for him) made him completely useless.
So ya i don't remember who specifically you're talking about but the game seems familiar

I'm Rugeater the Lemurtastic. 0-9-0 Zilean. That was the game with the solomid Shaco.

Ah yeahh...
haemonculus got kinda miffed when the two of u had 0-9-0 and 0-6-0 lol
|
Zilean/Heimerdinger is a lane combo rivalled only by the likes of Gangplank/Yi or Soraka/Mundo.
|
This Udyr "nerf" has done nothing to hinder my playstyle on him, rofl. I figured as much before and, now that I've finally unlocked him, it's just confirmed my suspicions... I start about 460 gold later than with the old jungle build (Meki + two health) but other than that I'm right back where I started - and the lesser reliance on vamp for jungling duration (meki = spam forms) means I can skip Malady and rush Starks <3

This is what I want to do: I want there to be a pool of TL players who can educate each other and play together (obv a noob doesn't need to play with a level 30 to learn but just a significantly higher level, therefore raising the TL play level and creating a pool of trustworthy players.
It would be such a luxury to just be able to insta hook up with 4 good players to have a good game, or guarantee an educational game. (like the difference between simple mass gaming and actual specific build practicing in BW)
What do you think?
edit: random LoL blog: recently I've discovered that my mundo play early in the game is way too aggressive and in a sense forces my enemy laners' hands. Sometimes it gets early kills but some times I have a bad ally laning with me and can't depend on them.
Any good players' thoughts on this?
|
Ya sure whatevs
I just played a game where I ended 10-1 as anivia and here were the other peoples' scores: 0-9, 0-8, 1-7, 4-5
like... really?
I keep telling myself I need to stop solo queuing but it's so hard to find a reliable 5 man premade (if you do a 4man you might as well not because you'll be put up against a full 5 man premade and your random pug ally will fuck you over).
|
-orb- I totally agree with you on the 4 man premades. My group of friends were 4 manning for a while and we would often get totally raped by a 5 man with perfect coordination while our 5th guy was doing his own thing. Sometimes we would get a decent player with enough game sense to know when to push or not and when to join up or not, but it wasn't reliable.
On the pool of TL players, I think an entirely new thread with a set format of player introductions (ie LoL ID, mains, activity, skype) would more easily organize player info... though that'd probably be frowned upon. As this thread is right now, tredmasta's post on page 1 is our best bet at organization, and I don't know if he's updating it currently.

Psyonic, you could update the OP w/ player info if we started reposting them in sequence.

The best way to learn IMO is with a practice game scrim, as it's with people you know (if you can muster enough numbers), is relatively serious, and isn't as deathly competitive. And that way you can trade things you've noticed and stuff.
My post is #4, and I'm fine with updating it with stuff I see (as I hawk over this thread quite often >_> ) , especially when I'm bored at work, so that could work if Psyonic doesn't want to do it.
|
Psyonic has some measure of being well known and active as a TLer, we should ask him if he could make a new thread with a formatted OP and update it.
Is anyone willing to put the time/responsibility, nothing serious of course. I would but I usually play games in streaks due to time management.
