Actually, this error I got when trying to log in. I get the script error after the above.

I went on LoL forums and saw people saying how she should not be AP, but rather support, but as a support player I don't think I bring alot to the table, I mean yes I can maybe spam the shield abit faster than usual, but it doesn't affect the game as much as if I went AP, where I am rather more leathal. So since I don't really see any good Morgana players nor do I like the builds that some LoL forumers have proposed (most of them are obsolete because of the patches anyways), can anyone propose me a build for Morgana (it may be support,tank,w/e), because I don't really know what to get her other than AP items. Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. I often see Morg players stacking RoAs. That said, I don't think she's really a top-tier support (Janna/Sivir), and she's definitely not a nuker. It may simply be that there are no great builds because she's just not that great...

Use practice games to get a feel of champions you think you would like to play - each player has a set style and because of the rune book system, it's better to focus on a certain type of hero to play. The free heroes each week cycle through archetypes, so you'll never be without a hero you like to play as a result.

League of Legends is a game of the DotA genre; if you've played / seen DotA, HoN or Demigod, you should be more or less familiar with what's it about. There are two game modes: 3v3 in the Twisted Treeline map, and 5v5 in the Summoner's Rift map. I'll be talking about 5v5 in this post mostly, but a lot of it is aplicable to 3v3 as well. There are 3 phases to a game: - Early laning phase: Levels 1-7 approximately. Your team usually splits up with 2 champions going by the top lane, 2 by the bottom lane, and one going mid (usually a ranged champion). In this phase, you try to get last hit kills on enemy minions for gold, you try to harass / kill the enemy champions, and try to deal with the enemy champion harassment. It's important to learn the Priority listings of enemy minions and towers, because they are especially powerful compared to your champion in this phase of the game. Long story short: You leave enemy champions alone, and minions and towers will leave you alone and only come to kill you last. You attack the enemy champions, and minions and towers will get very angry with you and try to kill you. - Midgame: Levels 8-13 approximately. Champions start moving from lane to lane more frequently, trying to gank one another. Keeping an eye on your minimap becomes very important, to tell whether the enemy champions are happily laning and minding their own business, or hiding in a bush somewhere trying to gank you. If you see 1 or 0 enemy champions in your minimap, you know they're lurking. Killing off a bunch of enemy champions is a good opportunity to take out a tower while they're respawning. Also, watch out for the following items (check them out here): Mejai's Soulstealer, Sword of the Occult, and to a lesser extent Leviathan. Doing well in the midgame with a champion loaded with these items will cause them to skyrocket in power. - Lategame: Levels 14-18. You win LoL matches by killing buildings. Not champions, buildings. It's a lot easier to kill buildings while the enemy champions are dead, however. Laning is mostly gone, and there are 3 things champions should be doing, mostly: i. Lurking, baiting and ganking: Try to get the jump on unsuspecting enemy champions. ii. Pushing / defending an enemy push: Instead of being all sneaky-like, one side boldly marches towards a tower, trying to take it out. You usually need a tank champion or two for this to work against a competent defense. iii. Ninja mission: Ironically, ninja champions (Kennen and Shen) are pretty bad for this. A champion with lots of damage and attack speed (usually Jax, Master Yi or Twisted Fate) splits from the pack, and while his teammates are busy pushing or defending a push, he runs in and takes out an enemy building that no one's defending. It's like playing Quidditch, where the game everyone else is playing is irrelevant because you're catching the friggin' snitch. The champions: Roles According to the LoL website, there are like 10 different roles. I'm just gonna cut it down to 3: - Tank. Your job is to take damage for your team, and prevent the enemy champions from killing your comparatively squishy allies. It's as important for you to be able to take damage, as it is to make sure the enemy champions can't just sidestep and ignore you. Typical tanks are Alistar, Cho'gath, Malphite, Rammus, Taric and Shen, but you can also tank with champions like Mordekaiser, Kayle, Singed and Sion. - DPS. Your job is to kill enemy champions. DPS champions always bring tools in addition to their damage, but the one thing they _need_ to bring to the table is... damage. Most champions can serve a DPS role given the right build. - Support. You're not particularly tough, and you're not a killing machine. You bring your team some important asset in team fights, such as Fiddlesticks' silence and fear spells, Ashe's stun arrow and slow effects, or Zilean's overwhelming annoyance. How to build your champion: Runes: You buy runes at the store, usually with Influence Points (IP) gained during matches. They make your hero stronger. Check out this thread for suggested runes for each hero. You unlock one new rune slot each summoner level, which goes from 1 to 30. Masteries: They're like WoW talent points. You get one per summoner level. Items: You buy these with gold during the game.

On May 08 2010 13:14 Southlight wrote: My tier list would probably look like Tier 1: Nidalee, Ezreal(AD), Fiddlesticks, Jax, Shen + Show Spoiler + Nidalee and Ez are the best ranged DPS at the moment, I think, considering their versatility, their map control, and their damage output. Both of them double as splendid healers and pushers, while being nasty gankers, and are difficult to kill. Fiddle is Fiddle, Jax is Jax, and Shen is Shen. Jax IMO is hovering at the edge of tier 1 and tier 2; he's strong, but I've not found him invincible unless your team compo sucks. But he definitely punishes bad team composition. So is Fiddle - there's a metagame shift that I'll talk about in Tier 2. Tier 2: Alistar, Anivia, Annie, Ezreal(AP), Janna, Malphite, Nasus, Soraka, Warwick, Zilean + Show Spoiler + Alistar's on the verge of teetering from tier 2 to tier 3 atm for me, as is Malphite. Alistar is still a good pusher, but with the existence of Nidalee and Ezreal he's just not that "necessary" anymore. Malphite's mass AoE is great but the metagame is switching away from AoE, thus the devaluing of AoE nukers like Fiddle and Annie. Nidalee, Ezreal, Shen, etc. are creating more of a map control roaming game, and the ability to defend lanes with things like Sivir and Janna (both nightmares to push against) give teams the ability to hold a lane 4v5. All three of the top support heroes are in this tier because I think heal is still crazy, and Warwick's jungling map control is still one of the best, even though he gets shut down by teams that ward against him. Tier 3: Amumu, Ashe, Blitzcrank, Corki, Katarina, Morgana, Nunu, Sion, Sivir, Trist, Twisted Fate, Twitch, Udyr + Show Spoiler + I feel Amumu's on a slide, but I'll still give him T3. Ashe is annoying to play against, as is Blitz, Corki can carry but only if you're really good, Kat's buffs have made her have crazy burst damage, Morg is as always, Nunu's become a lot faster and more efficient as a jungler as his consume sped up and he's a great ganker, Sion is Sion, Sivir is Sivir, Trist is Trist, Twitch is Twitch, Udyr's the 2nd best jungler in the game, and TF is middling because his DPS is okay but slow, he has no lane control, but his map control is still nice and lame. Tier 4: Cho’gath, Gangplank, Gragas, Pantheon, Rammus, Ryze, Singed, Taric + Show Spoiler + Cho has a nice AoE silence and an annoying AoE rupture but it's hard to make people target you. Gangplank is good for starving and that's about it. Gragas is nice but I tend to see him fall off as the game goes on. Maybe I've just not played with many good Gragas players. Pantheon has his days. Rammus is a great ganker and chaser, but as an initiator (which is what a tank should be) I feel he's lacking. Ryze is a glass cannon that punishes idiots, Singed falls apart in teamfights unless he's super farm, and Taric's just a crappy Sion now. Tier 5: Dr. Mundo, Garen, Karthus, Kassadin, Kayle, Kennen, Shaco, Teemo, Veigar + Show Spoiler + All these heroes can counter certain heroes on the other team, but aren't consistently great picks. Every now and then you'll go damn I wish we had Mundo (vs Fiddle), or damn I wish we had Veigar (against some caster), but every other time you'll think god what a useless piece of #@$(@. Non-blind pick would make a lot of them much more viable. Shaco's use got really hammered by the fact that there're now better roaming heroes (Nidalee, Shen, Ezreal in particular) that he struggles to actually beat, which kinda kills the whole point of him. Else: Evelynn, Heimerdinger, Master Yi, Mordekaiser, Poppy, Tryndamere + Show Spoiler + I hate these guys. I mostly like this list, but I feel like I am responsible for an unreasonably high ranking for Pantheon :p. Actually, I guess that's the right place for him, but I think he's on the lower end of that tier because at our level he's so reliant on having a good solo matchup and beasting on them early game. I also think Mord, Heim, and Poppy are a cut above the hold trinity of awful (Yi/Tryn/Eve). I honestly only think about queue dodging strictly on character choice of Yi, Trynd of Eve, all other heroes can be acceptable in the right team comp for me. And final note is that Ezreal is one character and he's top tier. AD probably is all round better than AP, but I think either way you play him, he's absurd right now.

auiowjektlgasdbqw3tes. i've never felt so useless vs a hero. not even jax. and the more i play the more i question mundo's worth on TT. he's like a mordekaiser that does a bit more damage but dies easier too. would prefer so many other heroes over him. as for that tier list, you put gragas in the same tier as pantheon and gangplank. and katarina scales terribly into the lategame but i guess KI makes her a bit more viable vs the soraka-happy teams nowadays. still would rate her lower.
