well, right now, I jungle with shen and go 9/21/0 with magic pen/dodge/MagicResistpLevel/flat HP.
My item build usually looks something like: ruby crystal boots1 warmogs treads aegis phage atma's impaler finish mallet
though I think you can probably just skip everything post aegis and get sunfire capes.
until the patch comes out, your skill build should look something like this: q e (w if you're jungling) q w (e if you're jungling) q r then r > e > q > w.
with the new feint though, his skill build becomes tricky.

I got Phage Sunfire Frozen, but I'm beginning to wonder if it's not better to just do Phage Levi Frozen etc.

Garen is like Trynd on steroids. But he looks and feels too much like a WoW retribution pally.
Hmmh... too many changes on this patch for me. I wish Riot started to balance out the old chars instead of making new ones ex. Shacos decieve (crit damage doesnt scale with lvl and no invis) bug has been floating around for 2 months now or something. But I guess they need the money to keep things rolling.

anyone else find Morgana's AD growth buff hilarious? She gets 3.5 AD/level now... that's more than like, every carry in the game, rofl.
tbh, I'm pretty worried about Garen... I really need to see the actual stats on courage because both gaining armor and magic resist on creep kills just seems unbelievably good, and that's not even mentioning how powerful the active seems to be. I mean, they're giving him Yumero's best ability and Axe's ult AND an ability that passively takes care of the most difficult tanking stats for you..? uhhhh, and oh yea, a chasing mechanism that also silences o_O. I mean, with the right numbers, this could all be balanced, but color me skeptical that they have actually pulled it off.

They are balancing Sion,nunu,tryndamere,katarina ...
They cant do all at the same time
they have no particular desire to help evelynn so it comes down to yi (maybe), sion (they said there will be more changes next patch) and the shaco bugs, but seriously League of legends is looking better than ever ! When there will be no more old champs to balance maybe a part of their team will move on to create new mods/maps,etc....
On topic on this patch. I glady appreciate all the changes even if my main is fiddlestick, im going to look if it hurts is jungling abilities right now (1 less bounce of darkwind)

To be completely honest, if their next patch notes were like this:
Release Notes: Version 1.0.0.84 *Items* -Execution's Calling: Reverting to pre-nerfed Version. Our bad dawg! No more of this active bullshit, you can have your counter to gay ass healing teams back!
I'd be pretty happy. I'm getting really tired of feeling helpless vs. healing teams. I understand they're looking for a balanced way to keep healing viable without being OP, but I don't get how that's leading them to keep nerfing EC when they've already made it so that healing is too good again.

I'd cry. Mundo was so screwed by that thing.
The problem with its current incarnation seems to be the difficulty of applying the debuff to entire teams, or even managing to keep it on more than one person.

Everyone's acting like the sky is falling for Taric, but i think he'll be hurt a lot less than we are imagining.
Soraka's Wish change barely changed anything.
Alistar and Rally got nerfed for sure, but I never saw them as main contributers to the problem as most healing teams I can remember feeling helpless against looked like Nidalee + Tari + Soraka + 2 other dudes, and I only sometimes notice a rally.
I guess at least they didn't push out the stupid extra EC nerf, but still, Soraka, Nidalee and Ezreal's heals remained untouched and Taric's basic heal got a lot better, so I'm still worried about the power level of healing teams. Hell, just put those 4 characters with Jax or Trist or Corki and I'll basically start QQing from the loading screen.

He'll be hurt a lot more than you expect, because his ult heals more than you expect :p I use Taric, and I always underestimate how much healing his ult dishes out. It actually gives more heal per second than the targeted heals of Soraka/Nid/Taric, which means they're effectively cutting Taric's healing power in half.
Whether that's enough I'm not sure. The triple heal with mass Spirit Visage was definitely incredibly lame, and while I don't usually stoop to bitching about things I couldn't stop from bitching about it during that game. I felt like it was THAT stupid.
By the way, flogging a dead horse, I wish you (Brees) guys had Sivir instead of Corki. That would have actually won us the game instead :D :D :D Instead you guys had Corki, who'd just Valk away. QQ.

it doesn't give more heal per second... the total heal of a typical use might add up to that, but if it were doing like 400/sec, I think we'd notice and stop playing this game :p.
I guess I'm just saying that now he'll now be able to keep his ult up longer to keep his own HP up, and on top of that his heal got a flat 4 second CD reduction and 30 base heal across all levels. I dunno, it just seems that he'll be every bit the damage sponge he was before (technically even more so cause all of his self healing actually got buffed) and now he can provide the offensive boost for longer. Nerf? sure. Enough? I doubt it.

well I feel terrible for any sivir that doesnt use rally/flash or Cleanse/flash.
flash + ult is a sure escape.
and yea with no change to spirit visage, which is my main problem with healing teams I dont think they did anything really. You guys have yet to see the gayness that is teams like janna/soraka/nidalee/warwick/ + sion/gangplank or something
all get visage and you have remove scurvy/sion's ult/warwicks Q healing for insane amounts on top of their cheerleader support, its so frustrating to play against since your like "wtf these characters all suck" but they have that synergy

Radiance Heal was 30/40/50 per second.
Consider that Imbue used to have a 16 second cd at max level minus one second per hit. But let's assume the Taric is more intent on keeping someone alive that's running away than attacking. 30x16 = 480. A level 5 heal was 270, which means at level 6 Taric expending all his mana in a crucial battle on Radiance and Imbue was already healing for an amount far beyond that of his targeted heal.
But it gets better, because at level 11 (level 2 ult) he gets 40x16 for 640. Goes to 800 by level 16.
That means a Taric could feasibly heal someone for roughly 1340 at level 16 for the 16-second cooldown of Imbue without getting a single AP item. The mana cost is incredible, but really, who cares? If you use up all your mana in a 16-second fight (as is the case), but heal one or two people for a total of 540, and heal everyone around you for 800, then it was worth it.
Now it only heals himself. Fine. You really shouldn't be hitting Taric anyways (because he's such a low offensive threat). Now in particular there will no longer be a need to kill Taric fast, because he won't be healing his teammates that much. You can, and should, be ignoring him from now on. This is a huge, huge nerf to his role in combat. It's the exact same thing as Soraka - you should never be going after Soraka, because she's a bitch, and she can heal, but it's a waste of time to kill her.
Anyways, over a 16-second window at level 16 his heal essentially gets nerfed from around 1340 to 600. As I said, effectively cutting Taric's healing power in half, keeping in mind that Imbue cools down 4 seconds faster.
Is it enough of a nerf to healing? Again, I repeat I'm not sure. But don't kid yourself - it's a huge nerf to Taric.
Edit: I agree about Spirit Visage. The cost vs performance of Spirit Visage and Executioner's Calling is just completely out of whack. Spirit Visage is almost worth it even for the lack of healing buff; the healing buff makes it crazy. Executioner's Calling the item is total ass, costs more, and its anti-heal effect is useless on everything but Mundo. They're basically letting the tears of ONE HERO screw up healing vs anti-heal balance, and it's frustrating.
Also, I don't know if that's the gayest team. Mundo Warwick Soraka Taric + X was the gayest team I've ever played on. And yes, we abused Spirit Visage. We all felt bad about it. But it felt invincible.

On a different note, you should definitely use mana regen runes on Shen. I was like 6-2 with them. I've gone 1-3 ever since I switched off them.
