Allright, I've been duking it out as Corki alot lately and my build is following: Summoner spells: Teleport and Clarity Clarity is a must for corki (he is mana dependant) even though teleport is just useful for laning. Vampiric scepter emblem of honor berserker boots sword of occult (dont do this if you're new as corki (or having a bad game so far), do something as brutalizer instead then) Starks Here I either go for Trinity force or Bloodthirster (depending on situation) but I end up getting both For skills I use QWQEQRQEQEEREWWWRW You can use Q for unveiling people who hides in the bush (simple use it inside the bush and you get vision). W is a must have for escaping and catching up. Runes (unsure on this part): AP on Glyphs, HP on Quint's and Seal's and DPS / ARP on Marks Soo any feedback on the guide? (remember Black cleaver doesnt stack with gatling gun no more =(( ) Any feedback on the guide?

If you're going DPS corki I'd go for cooldown runes in blue, because the paltry amount of AP you get won't really affect you that much, whereas cooldown will do a lot in regards to spamming ult etc. HP/level quints/yellows is good (never get flat HP yellows, they suck) and Armour pen is good for reds .
Not sure corki is the best carrier for starks, you should have an aura bitch on your team like sivir or something who I think is better suited. A good corki build I think is:
Brutalizer Merc Treads (maybe just get level1 boots then sheen then finish the merc treads off) Sheen IE or Last whisper
Merc treads are important because corki gets shredded if there's any amount of CC flying around.
Skill build looks pretty decent

Skill build looks pretty decent Corki's rockets doesnt come back faster from CD reduction. I've allways had very good experience with lifestealing corki, I've tried both malady and starks and starks is better for him. I wouldnt get merc threads because if you're coming into cc you're probally gonna die nevertheless. Last whisper is a biig no go for corki because he doenst need atk speed. Attack damage scales with his passive and gatling gun. Atk speed doesnt scale at all. (you need some, but berserker boots and starks / malady is enough by far)

some of the better corki in the game usually do something like
Mana crystal + 2 hp pots catalyst brutalizer sheen infinity or cleaver turn catalyst into banshee finish triforce if game is still going for some reason
summoner spells cleanse/ghost or ghost/flash or cleanse/flash depending on your playstyle. I think cleanse/ghost is the best atm with how nerfed flash is. not even really worth it anymore especially with valkyrie

I think you guys misunderstood my post, I wanted to know what could better my build not change it completely

well, no offense, but building stacks isn't exactly a sign of "better corkis in the game"... that's usually a sign of you being better than the people in your elo bracket.
From my experience, even the new Soto isn't worth getting because all the characters who would get it are the ones who get focused down in team fights first, so it's a) hard to build stacks because you're throwing 900 gold away on the theory that you will be able to get kills without spending that money on a more (initially) cost effective item and b) hard to keep stacks because you get focused down in team fights. *shrugs*

ahaha that practice game was awesome
|
So we had 9 people from the TL channel (Liquidparty) do a 5v5 practice match (with one random ringer)...
Kicker was that EVERYONE was in the SAME Ventrilo channel lol...
Highlights: -Yi vs Yi 1v1 match at Dragon's spawn (Yi won) -A Baron steal using Smite from WRAWRAWRAWRA -Non-stop ganking of the only non-TL player of the game (23 deaths lawl) -8-man Baron raid (ruined by the non-TL ashe and Nassus bleh) -Cheezmonger's Janna buying 3 phantom dancers (and working on a 4th) - Runs really fast but only tickles in terms of damage -Atombomb's Anivia spending entire game trying to block off his own team's escapes using ice wall
Fun times by all!

I really need to get a mic. I was so out of the loop during that 60 minute game where I played Nasus. Great game anyway.

why what's your alias iplaythings?
im talkin like mrgrim999 and phreak who are widely considered to be the best corkis, they pretty much do thos exact builds. in no serious game should you ever be getting stack items, besides maybe mejai's for casters. you simply dont get that many kills.
|
The change to gatling gun makes everything i ever knew about corki obsolete. Then again, I always built corki pure glass cannon, refusing to get anything related to hp ever. Just got chalice, vampiric, boots and then straight black cleaver. Damn change to the armor reduction.
|
Other highlights of that game: Only-phantom-dancer Janna 1v1s Ashe and almost wins (Ashe is saved by outside intervention) At varying points in the game, Ashe, Nasus, Janna, Mundo and someone else (can't remember) being chased from one base to the other.
also CURSE YOU ATOMBOMB. I had to save Ghost for running through those walls.

I'm starting to love playing alistar. Still won't go him except with an arranged team on Vent/Skype, but I think I'm finally starting to get the hang of him.

i had the superior yi item build rofl. even though i got owned by the lizard early game
|
so how do u guys build karthus i build him with lots of hp RoA , rylais and skip meja for quick RoA
|
Dear god solo queue makes me want to kill myself Impossible to carry some of these people. Cleaver/boots3/doransblade/phandom dancer at 22 minutes and still not enough lol

Also it isn't too hard to not engage as corki... It's just about staying in the back (and taunting them to attack - moving back is very helpful if they focus you.
The reason why I ain't much for getting Sheen is because it doesn't really scale with corkis abilltiys other than the 20 ap. Which neglects the beauty of corki. His gatling gun triggers malady (but doesn't stack with cleaver anymore if I remember it right) He gets 10% more attack damage from items (in his auto attack) and the dps makes gatling gun do more damage. The reason why I am being stubborn about this is that you never mentioned why Sheen openers are more useful than my usual scepter - emblem- boots - soto thing. I really just wanted feedback, not a different build because it seem like the build you give me is for another playstyle.

This may or may not be true. If, in every teamfight, you get a kill, an assist, and a death, you'll stabilize with about 6 stacks. On SotO, that's 5*6+10 = 40 attack, at a cost of ~1400. Pretty much in-line with pick-axe/BF sword.
Of course, you could have bought a longsword and a pickaxe instead, which gives you +35 attack for about the same price, but immediately. Then SotO's advantages are that it can scale higher (if you do better), and it only takes one slot.
I've never been a huge fan of win-more items, but they're not complete crap.

Phreak has been stressing on his livestream that if you ever get phantom dancer you are a terrible player. I pretty much believe him. Also I thought wit's end was useless but I see wazzabi running it on warwick... does anyone know why he does or what his exact build is?
I've been giving shaco a run lately and he's fun, but since anivia became free she's been my favorite champ. Turns out I love aoe and burst damage. Anyone got any good builds for her? I just open meki + pots and go catalyst then chalice. I grab mejai's if I'm doing well--I think that this is the only exception to win-more, mejais is so crucial on some champs that it's worth it to have it even if you don't expect more than 3 kills the whole game long. If I'm not doing well I go rod first. Lich bane to zhonyas for the win from there.
Anyone have any advice?
