my best blademaster combo when i was in china at ~40 was xxx>upper> backstep slash>upper>xxx>wheel thingy.
also i can provide a thruough skill build for everyclass if you guys want. its in chinese but i can give translations. but it has pictures and numbers. so its pretty self explanatory. Guide First row is slayers: blademaster>dark aura guy>berserker>asura
Second row is guns: rangers>launcher>mechanic>spitfire
third row is fighter: street figter>nen fighter>kicker girl>grappler
fourthrow is priests: golden aura guy>blue fist guy>and idk cuz i dont play priest
fifth row is mages: phys priest>summoner>elemental mage
If you do an xxx combo you can cancel it into a wave wheel (even while they are on the ground) I don't have the cancel yet though so I can't really try it out iirc in the only vod I have ever seen of a weapons master he liked to use it to end combos and for random slashes Like he would run around a corner then turn around quickly and wheel; I'm pretty sure it's because it has decent range and has super armor after the cast time?
well aparantly u can xxx cancel the wheel to grab ppl on the floor but either im doing something wrong or the timing is like .01 second after the hit confirm. I can never do it in practice mode but practice mode is kinda bullshit. That dummy character weighs like 2 tons or something ... they just fall to the floor so fast lol.
Some people really get creative with blade master combos. They can use like any skill in any situation like a freestyle combo. Its awesome. Me, i get confused with cooldown and stuff and fail not to mention i cant think fast enough on what to use in that split second lol. I see people do backstep-slash then wave wheel and grab ppl on the floor. I havnt been able to do this lol.
after a high enough launch (like when u uppercut a jumping guy) you can do jumping double slash, then uppercut one more time to relaunch, then continue with the comebo.
Slayers almost never start combos with xxx. It comes out slow and will get stuffed by almost everything. You either uppercut at the right timing, Ashefork into upper, or block uppercut. Also, its posible to abuse the Y axis reach of slayer technique, but im not so good at that yet. The wheel has some Y reach also.
I always miss my timing to do jumping double slash so my combos end up like this most of hte time... Launch, x2x2x2 backstepcut uppercut (if relaunched) gore cross x2x2x2 backstepcut uppercut or wheel. Then prepare for their get up reaction. Soemtimes u jump on top of them and ash fork into their back. Sometimes u can shoot out a gore cross fast enough to pressure them as they get up. Sometimes u block their wakeup attack and launch them. Or just run away and start over
Oh and ever since I got locked out of the channel 52 I cant find anyone to pvp. Its hard enoough to get into a damn pvp server and when i finally do, there is like 2 rooms and no one in the waitlist. -_-
You can go bash nubs in the practice room. There's usually 5-6 rooms running, but the few games I've played were horrible =S
Oh and I can never get the timing for uppercut doubleaerial; my first slash usually misses and the second one hits on the ground So yeah I gave up on that
Normally I'll trade a hit with x and then abuse uppercut superarmor, and I don't think I've ever used guard (failure on my part, should I get guard cancel or just use my extra SP on more ashe fork?) I also like to spam gorecross until it lands -> xxx uppercut, since gore cross is amazingly imba
And now I realize how awesome zigzag uppercut is; it's so much harder to approach when every single one of your decent-ranged moves (except gore cross) knocks them down and/or has no vertical range Also how do you use the sword smash berserker thing (mountainous hammer? forgot the name)? I got a point on it but it seems pretty useless, either I get hit while I'm still rising or it just knocks them down and I can't follow up with anything
double air slash should be used when they get knocked higher than the normal height. If u get them with uppercut in the air they get launched way high. Guard cancel could be usefull i guess, but that should be more like a left over sp kinda thing at least imo. I dont really ever felt the need to cancel out into guard. You need to get lvl 5 (max) guard to get the auto guard and auto counter, so do that when you can. I personally only just recently maxed guard but 80 percent absorption is pretty sick.
Moutanous wheel doesnt combo for blademasters at least right now since we dont have ++++ attack speed. They dont get launched high enough to follow up with uppercut. Its just used for surprise attacks really.

The Gore Cross is able to prolong the combo through another cycle? That means I should have at least a point in it then, right? I'm kind of low in SP since I just spent it all on ashe fork -_-
I got the titles sky tower climber and importance of basics at the same time. I'm a summoner and wondering which is better to use? I don't know if the extra intelligence that the importance of basics gives is better than the extra MP and mp per min from the sky tower title. Halp

sorry, I don't notice whispers when in dungeons and I don't have second spine kings. haven't bothered to try to get kings on any dungeons starting from Purgatorium.
GBL branch is in the Temple of Apostasy area. might be easier for a Slayer but it was annoying as hell to play through on my Gunner, and then I got owned by the boss. part of it was probably because I was soloing on Expert and never actually completed the real dungeon on Normal, but I went through 2 tokens and still couldn't kill the boss heh
I use the title "Sky Tower Climber" because of the +HP and me trying to avoid using HP potions as much as possible
I'm probably going back to First Spine groups once I run out of Second Spine & GBL Branch quests. GBL Branch might not be that bad in a group though, but it doesn't seem like anyone runs it.
Second spine is annoying as hell -_- that damn laser cannon shoots from across the screen. Its dman near impossible to discern where in the Y axis that red flash actually was.
btw, does anyone know what the "NPC Needs This Item" list is supposed to mean? some obviously need them for a quest and others offer repeatable trade in quests, but then there are items that list NPCs like "Daphne" that only have a "Chat" option available.

Finishing 6 gives you 7, which is just a simple talking to someone. After that, he teaches you the stolen skills. I've heard of other subclasses getting gypped and not getting their skills, so I don't know what the problem is. I'm a grappler btw.
