FYI kings in a 4-person party gives slightly less than or very close to solo expert, so if you can do a solo run of expert then you're better off + you get all the gold/items.

I think if you can solo kings in an area that's like 3 levels under you still get more than a 4-man kings run in the area corresponding to your level (ie. level 31-32 kings run of Silver Night with a three-man party actually gave me about the same exp as a solo kings run of Outer Wall, and the divide is Silver Night (30/31), Purgatorium (29), Dendroid Jungle (28), Outer Wall (27).

Edit:
Actually I'm not sure if that's (the 3 level difference) fully true at the level 26 standpoint (I never tried during Sky Tower). The expert/kings relationship for the same level remains true though; being able to solo Masters is far and beyond better than quad-teaming Kings.

ok ok . I just looked at the upgrade chart again and i dont seee how the fuck my weapon goes down to +3 from +6. +6 to +7 is 75%. +5 to +6 is 80%. +4 to +5 is 90%. Thats like enough probability to get +13 from +10 or soemthing. WHAT THE FUCK

im pissed im not goan bother with upgrade anymore. Ill just get lvl 40 weapon then upgrade it -_-

I feel like the upgrade chance is worse than actually listed (Nexon?) but there's a 0.5% chance of going straight down like that. I only upgrade to +3 usually, and then a bit more (currently +5) if I feel like I have the money to play with fire a bit (usually can get to +5 easy but sometimes it goes backwards once or twice; I went +3, +4, +3, +4, +5 on my current broom.

I'm on Effie right now.

I know soloing Kings gives you better EXP, but it is incredibly hard for a BM to do early on.

Anyway, my parties keep getting raped. If my friends were online it would be a different story.

It sucks.

Expert solo is definitely better than a typical King's party run. I get ~20-22k exp for a solo of either Floating Castle or Castellan's Chamber, and I think about 18-19k for a 4-person King's run of either. The fact I get S-rank alone and usually about B-rank in a party probably accounts for a lot of that difference.

And you get better drops since they're not split among four people, and I use fewer items solo Expert than in a party King's....

Expert solo turns out to probably be the best EXP over time for me, and I care more about EXP/time than EXP/fatigue since I'm limited by my free time and usually can't kill all my fatigue in a day.

My BM fucking finally hit 25 today and omg so much more fun now that I have REAL chasers lolol.

That's only the bonus for completing the mission. For example, per kill on Outer Wall Kings solo (the level 27? place) I get about 500xp, while per kill in First Spine Kings 4-party I only get about 440 - I believe you see a different expert and kings as well. I think I was actually getting more exp per kill dual-running Masters than triple-running Kings on Silver Night.

btw first spine is ridiculously annoying. That boss spawns fuckign shitton of squids. Those black ones are like immmune to hit stun -_- That boss has some black poison thing that bleeds u for like 500 hp. And he spins around and goes berzerk on the screen. If u get hit once u get launched and get hit like 3 more times. Its fucking insane. Its like impossible to solo kings and master is hard as hell too

I just spent 800k trying to upgrade my 32 purple tonfa to +7

It went to 6,5,6,5,4,5,4,5,6.
And I just gave up after that ~_~

Honestly i dont think its worth it now. Too much money for so little gain. It does help alot in pvp though.

Definitely agree it's more of a late-game money sink ;p

Upgrading to +4/+5ish is no real biggy though and provides a decent buff.

If you somehow manage to hit +10 and beyond it's more significant (you gain more per upgrade once you pass the "safe" levels).
