took you a while to figure out #1 eh?
i duno what the deal with eggs are but I rage when it spawns devourers
taht boss is so rdidiculously easy on a full party. make sure you keep him inside the cage until you clear the front. Then just go in there and jump him. He has good hit recovery but his able to be juggled, stunned, and grabbed. Often times he will just die before he can do much of anything. But this is talking about a party that consist mostly of slayers/fighters/monks. If theres not as much combo potential, you could sit at the choke and spam stuff. Gunners can spam shoot and drop nades. Mages can shoot magic. When its teams without many melee, I change to great sword and spam that long range slash from the choke. I could see some trouble with our TL patented team of 3 mages and a slayer though lol.
oh and my first observation was that this boss was hella hard. Thats because i soloed it from normal to master lol. Not enough combos with one person to keep him under control. He will eventualy do taht spinning attack of doom lol. And his poison hurts.

Bait random superarmor move, punish recovery with ghost slash/neutral wave sword/triple slash/moonlight slash -> combo/etc. Depending on how big the move is, you might be able to dash -> upper slash into combo. Giant Weapon Launcher is fairly easy to punish, you can jump over the shockwave from the jump slam move and ashe fork -> combo him, etc. Monks are a bit more of a pain because they have more mobility but once they put their weapon down they don't have superarmor moves to worry about so you can poke them till you get an opening to combo.
As for gunners, they don't have a lot of y-axis coverage other than grenades and windmill so use that to wiggle your way in. Same general idea, bait laggy move and punish. Running straight into them is a good way to get BBQ'd... but you generally have no reason to run into Jack Spike/BBQ range anyways. Windmill and grenades are pretty much the biggest issue and you are moving carefully and looking for them, you can deal with them.

OTHER THAN GRENADES AND WINDMILL
OH WELL THAT'S JUST DANDY
ELEMENTALISTS DON'T HAVE MUCH ZONING OTHER THAN ALL THEIR SPELLS EITHER
GINSENGG you were like I found a purple lv30 beam sabre Then I was like I'll buy it Then you were like logoff WHERE ARE YOU I might have bought one by tomorrow if you don't reappear

armed_ what do you mean by zoning?
Zoning is a fighting game term. The idea is to space yourself so that you are in a position to react or punish any of your opponent's attacks while out-prioritizing them.
