Literally, my TE catches the ball (when it's accurate) about 30% of the time, regardless of coverage, regardless of throw accuracy, and his catch rating is 87. And the CPU seems retardedly good at breaking tackles with anyone, Frank Gore went through 6-7 guys several times lol. If they play madden nation on all-madden, I guess it makes sense for us to, cos it's like 'genuine'. But it just feels so 'un-sim'ish if you play on that difficulty, it becomes all about the W; and making cheap ass plays over and over again. -H4m3rD PS. I think stuff is going down on Sunday. | ||

even with a stud rb, the only way to get a halfway decent ypc is by grinding away and praying for a big break (power o is really good when they blitz inside). you basically have to adjust plays before the snap all the time, part of the reason i hate the clock advance. forget passing, esp if you have a medicore qb. slants, short outs, screens, flats and pa are the only truly usable plays until you wear them down pass d is fucking impossible on all madden. guys break open all the time, and you can throw 6... 7 dudes at the qb and hell have 8 seconds every time. the only thing i can do well on all madden is run d. | ||

EDIT: I really shouldn't say that you are "bad" because I know people who play on pro and are pretty damn good at the game, but All-Madden isn't that hard. It takes some adjusting is all. | ||

It's just that playing on all-pro, however unrealistic that feels; is much more realistic and makes you feel more in an NFL game than a video game than all-madden. Plus if you change some sliders you can make a halfway house between AM and AP...I wish there were like a standardized 'middle' setting that everyone came up with on the EA forums or something... | ||

I have played football. I'm on my school's team right now. It's not easy to score, but you have to have esp to be able to jump routes as fast as the defenders on AM are. The receivers just drop balls too. If you even just watch one where he's showing Pro with 100% sliders, you'll see the difference. I'm not saying we shouldn't play on All-Pro or All-Madden, I'm just saying it's not realistic. I'm fine with anything as long as we play. | ||
