Snute you are a great player, It's hard to have motivations sometimes but you are always awesome to see and people all make mistakes. But you know that. I just hope you cheer up and continue leading the flag for zergs and foreigners everywhere, Neeb and Nerchio might be good now but you will forever be the guy that is remembered to have 2-1'd herO twice and 2-0 sOs in the Same tournament and 2-0 Rain and 2-1 Classic in another, despite people saying you wont win against them, you are an awesome player and you will always be an awesome player. GG and I hope 2017 is a better year for you! It's been a great year Snute, You actually won something.

put yourself in my shoes having to be the guy that plays horribly like that after practicing so much when it matters the most. and then having to read this. i know exactly what you mean, because if you imagine what you said and amplify its negative emotions by x1000 and add some existential-suicidal darkness spice on top, you can maybe get somewhat close to imagining how i feel. it's not the first time. i feel incompetent at my job more often than not and it's very sad. but i'm happy to still have fans that cheer for me.
At this point it's more about trying to find reasons to keep going in sc2 or in life for that matter. i failed wesg and blizzcon, the two most important things to not fail. if good gameplay on average is what you want, then I'm proven to not be the guy (despite placing top4 at a lot of tournaments this year). Try Nerchio or Neeb if you want to cheer for someone less likely to disappoint. I'm just a high level zerg that does somewhat ok on ladder and sometimes in tournaments. It's not fair to expect me to take down drogo 100% of the time, even if my ZvP is good in a lot of scenarios. apologies
Don't even listen to idiots like that. Those aren't your real fans. Keep your head up and take some time away from the game or whatever helps you feel better. You've become a staple of foreign SC2 so it would be a shame if you left

Don't apologize, looking at your pov on frost and considering the stakes at hand theres literally no shame in losing this, it's not like it was TvP vs Drogo :p
This wasn't as easy of a transition as people say. Last time i checked, hive tech doesn't magically cover the cost of corruptors, greater spire and broodlords, or any other upgrade for that matter. And redditors just look at your 2k minerals and forget that you have no gas. If you transition who knows how strong Drogo's attack can be.
Yes you failed in the most important tourneys this year (although a wcs winter grand final isn't too bad), but compare that to others and you're still one of the very best out there. Who else can have those results and consider it a bad year? Some players come and go, you sir are still here 4 years later as one of the best foreigner ever.
You know what they all say, form is temporary, class is permanent ;p

The hell mate. Don´t you go all depressed and melancholic on us. There is always next year
Players are human. Humans make mistakes. Don't worry about it too much, Snute. I know it's competitive environment but when you support someone, it's not just about result but about effort. We know you put a lot into this and that's what counts. Chin up and keep fighting.

Dude you're top 4 foreigner, that's very impressive. you have the most results against top koreans out of all the active foreigners, don't get demotivated by 1 bad result.
Snute your fans are always here behind you, and we know you'll put out some more amazing games and tournaments in future! It's one bad day in a career with many successes and stunning moments.

Compared to the top 3 of the world, you may be considered 'bad' at your work, but that is indeed quite a negative way of looking at it. You still managed to make it your work, and it is a very elitist work (in a way that very few can actually make it, and any mistake is costs a lot). Hell, you are even objectively one of the best player ever. You are incredibly consistent in the long term. Also, the pressure is not the same for you than for most of your opponent since you are assumed to do well.
And finally, we simply love you. I just love seeing you play every time, and hearing (from) you.

Head up, Snute. We still love ya over here! GG's and come back stronger next season 💪💙
Snute I happily cheered for you. Things don't always work out as we want in life but I still think you had a good year of Starcraft. Losing like this in a big tournament will always be tough on anyone but you should know a lot of people enjoyed watching you play and cheer for you this year.

What is first, feeling incompetent or making bad decisions in-game? Because from outside it seems that there is a point in those important games, when you think that you are not winning and that you should be winning, that you just feel incompetent, get frustrated and stop making good decisions and playing good. If that is the problem, you need to address that issue: learn to identify that you are frustrated and make an extra effort to compose you again and play as in practice. You are not an average player, you are an incredible one, with one big weakness. That's not bad news for the future, focus to solve it and be the beast we all fans want you to be!
wow thanks guys, didn't expect so many encouraging replies T_T made me view things in a better way i really gave it my all this year but i'm not sure if i can continue practicing this much, feeling burnt out mentally and also physically. i still like to play a lot in my daily life but i'll try to adjust into a more relaxed approach now and hopefully i'll be able to improve and show fewer silly defense fail games in tournaments too
