Snute for President!
His games against Neeb were just awesome!
So happy to seeing him in form before BlizzCon!
I wish him so much getting out of the group into RO8 at BlizzCon!
And also happy that he publicly declared his rivalry with Nerchio ;-)

Thank you ! One just has to get used to it and try to do a good split. it's very troublesome once the adept count goes above 12+7 or so because speedlings without banelings don't do interceptions that well anymore (especially without ravagers). So then you have to slice the roach blobs up/kite really well in order not to take damage. it's a bit annoying but it's not something that you want to think about there and then. Mostly you'll avoid this situation by producing precaution roaches sooner, for example on Sejong station i had the right idea to some extent but my roach swell hit way too late and my macro wasn't setup for this scenario. When this does happen, it's probably wise to give up a base or two, something I didn't really succeed at too well in the Sejong game. But when you realize that you missed your macro target (and overdroned), you can't be too frustrated because it's a really big mistake all on the/(your) zerg side of things. Bad precautions, no scouting', etc.

Protoss a lot of the time will be forced into transitional play or just straight up lose if they commit too hard into an appropriate zerg setup. The first times you play vs mass shades it's super annoying but at some point you just surrender to the design team and just do your best against it, eventually it's not so bad because the game develops forward and a lot of maps become better for zerg in late-game, position wise, assuming technology is in stone age (galactic process is a good example of this). So protoss push themselves really far back in tech and also are forced to expand a lot, so while mass shades is a murderous move it's also got some weaknesses, and the more you figure those weaknesses out, the more you can think 3 minutes ahead instead of only thinking about the shades etc. If protoss just goes for it into a perfect zerg defense you also just default-win, so a lot of the heaviest adept pressure can also be considered an attempted throw/a gift and that really helps with overcoming the typical adept-tilt.

I found it in chinese and in russian but not the english one.... (Since I missed the tournament completely I would really appreciate if someone has got any ideas!)

I'm thinking that Snute and Neeb is actually favoured to advance in the BlizzCon group. I don't really think Patience is great, while Zest is kinda slumping? and even at his peak this year he was bad at PvZ, so gogo Snute!!

It doesn't matter if you think Patience is great or not, in the end he still always wins and nobody knows how.

Going to korea for prac isnt really worth it anymore it seems like to me. the overall level, especially on ladder, isn't close to as cutthroat and impressive as it used to be

Attempt failed. Maybe you just shouldn't have posted if you can't manage it.

This one result sucks, Snute, but it was great to be able to see you compete in WCS this year. Keep fighting and keep strong! You done amazingly this year, and I know you'll continue to play well as you have been.

put yourself in my shoes having to be the guy that plays horribly like that after practicing so much when it matters the most. and then having to read this. i know exactly what you mean, because if you imagine what you said and amplify its negative emotions by x1000 and add some existential-suicidal darkness spice on top, you can maybe get somewhat close to imagining how i feel. it's not the first time. i feel incompetent at my job more often than not and it's very sad. but i'm happy to still have fans that cheer for me.

At this point it's more about trying to find reasons to keep going in sc2 or in life for that matter. i failed wesg and blizzcon, the two most important things to not fail. if good gameplay on average is what you want, then I'm proven to not be the guy (despite placing top4 at a lot of tournaments this year). Try Nerchio or Neeb if you want to cheer for someone less likely to disappoint. I'm just a high level zerg that does somewhat ok on ladder and sometimes in tournaments. It's not fair to expect me to take down drogo 100% of the time, even if my ZvP is good in a lot of scenarios. apologies

I know it's not going to be much, it's obvious that kind of thing hurts, but please Snute, don't get depressed like that because of some idiot. We love you and if you feel down, remember even the greatest players have had slumps. And hell, you're one of the best, as you actually being in these tournaments prove
