Are you saying Seltzer and Anna Prosser aren't attractive girls? Or if they are, then what's your point?
They are attractive girls and they are also REALLY passionate about what they do, they give great things to the community. Yet, they have no fanclub. So the argument that Marsupian gave ( that people that give to the community get fanclubs ) is wrong.
Apparently, people don't find Seltzer and Anna Prosser attractive enough (which is okay because everything sees people different when it comes to appearance).
He didn't say that everyone who gives to the community gets a fan club. You aren't understanding the logic of his argument.
edit: Just to be clear, you can have a statement like "If a person has a legitimate fan club, then that person has contributed to the community." But that statement doesn't mean "If a person has contributed to the community, then that person has a fan club."
And getting fans shouldn't be exclusively about professional merit and success. In fact, that's one of the most frowned-upon reasons for being a fan. It's called being a "fair weather fan" and fans with different motivations don't like it. So Sporrer might not be the best interviewer in the world, but if fans of interviewers always liked only the best interviewer in the world, then there'd be no point in fan clubs.
This is why I am a Liquid'Tyler fan. He just thinks the right way <3.
anyone that people like should have a fan club. i mean anna and seltzer should be more famous in the fans eyes because they're great at what they do easy on the eyes and generally dont make to many blunders. Now you have lindsey 1 event and a superstar kinda our troll hero or heroin to troll maybe just because of how controversial her interviews/comments were. Regardless if she keeps in the community and actually tries to forward herself she's just as deserving of this club
How come the people complaining that anna and rachel don't have fanclubs just don't make one themselves if they're so concerned about who has fanclubs?
Hope to see Lindsey at MLG for more excellent interviews!

Because they aren't actually fans of anna or rachel, they just like to complain about everything.

well he does have a major in philosophy, he's putting it to good use!
if she attracts people to the sc2 scence why wudnt u support her? i dont see how she can harm the community in any real way. just say for example some random person on the internet see the sc2 scence and sees girls playing the game it may encourage them slightly more to play, even it is just 0.01% or so thats still a few people

It's not that Anna is not attractive, it's just that we are all scared of iNcontoL.
I just have to ask... What if she stops being involved in the community? Like, let us just say NASL was a one time thing for her, just a job. I'm not saying it is, but IF it was, and she just kind of falls out of it all and we never see her again what would the point of this fan club be? I feel like it was made a bit prematurely, I think she did her best and I liked her work (as funny as it was when she messed up on a few things, but she worked through it). I am not hating on her, but I feel like seeing her ONCE doesn't exactly warrant a fan club, people can be fans of her, there is NOTHING wrong with that. However, I don't think we need a fan club just yet. I also feel like a good portion of the fans here are only fans because of how attractive she is and not for what she actually does.

If you're not a fan then don't be one? It's really that simple.

If she is abducted by aliens tomorrow and never does an SC2 event again I'm sure people will stop bumping this. Does this fan club existing "too early" in your opinion impact your experience on this forum in any meaningful way? Come on.
I recall a particular shitstorm in which mods denied a fanclub because the player was not "a well-known, well-respected member of the community, or a top player" Lindsey Sporrer fits neither of these descriptions.
I don't really care about her and the fact that anyone can either like her or hate her given we've seen her once baffles me, however, I don't think she deserves a fanclub.
