Was awesome to see him come back after that insane Ohana game. Not as awesome as seeing him secure round of eight and Code S for next season, but what is? Also, hope Team Liquid's decision to not have him go to Dreamhack means that he not only gets to practice more but also get some rest. <3

That's not BM, that's forcing a draw. When you've clearly lost? Thats extremely bad mannered. Yes it forces a draw but to say that is your last building and then you float it and just say "draw" is kind if ridiculous to me. Beastyqt did it vs Hasuobs a few weeks ago, and though Hasuobs had the bigger army because he couldn't "kill" the last building he was forced to take that draw... I can understand if a draw comes from two armies that have like 1 building left each and don't want to move out but when it's really clear you lost to float your CC in the corner is completely bad mannered. You'll almost never see pros do that: I only see that happen on ladder when people just don't want to lose. Dima was well within his bounds to turtle up until Hero was down 50 supply and had no income (which Dimaga scouted). He also scouted Hero's army composition and even A-moving his was better. He also had creep tumors which he could have actively pushed to try and win with a spine crawler push. Instead, he just sat back and did nothing, waiting for like 4 lings at a time... It's extremely frustrating from Hero's end and to be honest Hero was the bigger man in GGing, though knowing him he wanted Dimaga to attack him so Hero could maybe pick off a few things before gging out. Hero had no belief he could win that game at the end, but he wanted to give it one last shot trying to defend as best as he can (which he often does), but instead of going to go kill him Dimaga sat there. He claimed he wasn't going to attack because he wanted to win, which is absolutely false because he would have won even if he did attack.

It's not a matter of importance: it's a matter of being polite. Yes tournaments you definitely want to win so it seems like because those are more important it should be more excusable, but just because it's okay on ladder doesn't mean it's okay in tournaments. Stream cheating is okay on the ladder, but does that mean stream cheating is okay in tournaments because they are more important? No. Look at it this way. In a soccer game, a team that only has a narrow lead of 2-1 with like 2 minutes left of stoppage time might dribble the ball to the corner and try and hold it there. However, if a team is up 5-1, that is incredibly poor mannered because you have really nothing to lose and are simply being insulting by not playing straight with the other team to finish out the game properly even though the other team knows it has lost. It's hard to find examples in other sports because most other sports have very clear time limits whereas Starcraft does not necessarily have one. Even poker tournaments your time to make a decision is limited and someone can call a clock on you: if you don't respond in time you forfeit your hand automatically. But a good example would be if a poker player has a royal flush... He knows he's got the win, but if he sits and just ponders his decision for the next 20-30 minutes (assuming no time restraint) obviously it's very rude to the other player. Thats why time limits were placed on poker decisions and why Dimaga's move was inconsiderate.

Would love to see exactly what the Terran was doing, because all I could really gather was that he macro'ed like a fiend and produced more Ghosts than you can shake a stick at. And was superb at sniping. Really enjoyable to watch in general.

Also, i have to admit dimaga have disappointed me so much. Im not hating, but... was pathetic..i cheer for him normally, but.. Btw, great blink-spread micro in G2 against banedrop, i dont know how hero have done that with overlords over his stalkers, but he splitted in 3 groups like i've never seen before. And amazing forcefields in G3... Haters or lovers, hero has a great momentum, im so sad for DHC, but .. Supernova its in big, big troubles i think ![]()
