Tasteless is a big part of the reason I pay money to watch GOMtv. It should be brought to light that all of these amazing tournaments that are popping up all over the world. We all consider who the commentators are. When we realize that Tasteless is unable to most of us are upset b/c he really is the best commentator. IMO at least
In one of the GSL bw classic games, it was a tvp on medusa/neomedusa. Anyway a dt got into the T base and the terran didnt have a scanner for some reason at the time and tasteless said

There is already a wonderful Tastosis fan club, however in light of the recently created Artosis fan club I thought it only appropriate to make sure Tasteless got his own.
The brothers Plott are two of my favorite individuals in the Starcraft community. Nick does some of the best commentating that can be found anywhere and, honestly, spoils me for anything less (which is just about anyone). His commenting, play, and support for his brother over the years definitely makes me a fan. Sign me up, please!

The funniest shit I've ever heard... that "what Tasteless is doing to nerds on the ladder recently"... man that is just gold. Riding around a dinosaur with their heads on a stick... or some shit like that... really? Dude every one of those is just comedy.
When playing a game of Hangman in math with our sub teacher, I chose 'Nick "Tasteless" Plott' as the thing to guess.
I was upset when no one got it, but theres only like 2 people I know at my school who would even have a chance of knowing who that was, neither in my math class.

Almost anyone is inactive when compared to artosis, considering he does GSL, streaming, youtube commentaries, interviews, and house tours. Tasteless is on the GSL several times a week, I don't think you can call that inactive.

i was about to step out the door before i read this. this is a rather good question and a good closing note to this thread. there is nothing about my life that is dubious, i simply live it to the fullest without regrets. most of modern media is trashy and gossipy, usually run by the catty, vapid people you knew in highschool who were shallow and lived to yammer on about the ever more interesting lives of others so they could some how inflate their own sense of self importance by cutting down someone who everyone else gave a bigger shit about. I find no need to appeal to a puritan and judgmental machine such as this. If PTA moms and retardedly conservative fathers are some day threatened by my presence and life style... good. I am happy and doing well. Further more, their children would find figures like me elsewhere if not in the obscure and underground scene that is SC casting.

If it wasn't for tasteless(and mr. Savior) I would of never pay attention to the prolevel bw. Im willing to bet alot of the people who post on teamliquid started watching because of Mr. Plott
Tasteless is the best. I Never understood BW PvP until he explained it on some random PvP in the gom classic.

Not in the OP, but I caught Tasteless doing some casting for a show which is on Arirang (a Korean TV channel which is broadcasted to various countries in english) he was casting broodwar 2 days ago and some GSL matches more recently than that with the guy who filled in for him while he and artosis were at blizzcon last year.

Sign me up for this, if there is a signup process. Tasteless and Artosis are a huge reason why I got so into eSports instead of just playing StarCraft casually. Their passion for the game really inspired me to get better and get my friends and other people into the game.
Tasteless should have a youtube channel and create his own content, why doesn't he do this?

I swinged by reddit and i read a thread about the mlg casters. There was a comment suggesting artosis and as i scrolled down it evolved to be a slaughter of tasteless. I got the impression of that people really underestimate tasteless at the moment. We only see him when he is with artosis, and therefore he does what he should; PLAYS HIS ROLE. His role in the duo is not to be really deep in the analytics. I have watched tasteless for a looong time. I guess the first time was one of the avaratec seasons, and i am convinced tasteless loves this game and have more knowledge than most casters. He is capable of being a sick analytic, but right now he is proffessional. Pro enough to play his role, pro enough to entertain us.
And by the way, I saw True Romance the other day.. Christian Slater really looks like Tasteless in it. Hehe here two pics from the movie.
Yeah people give tasteless a lot of shit by not knowing what happens in the game but I really don't mind since we have Artosis to give all the facts. As a former high master player I enjoy Tasteless a lot more since I know enough of the game, he can be funny on a regular basis.

As someone who pretty much only likes analytical casting in SC2, I'm really liking Tasteless recently. He seems to be stepping it up and doing quite a good job when he's paired with Wolf (who I can't stand).
