Probably more surprising than that is that he got 2-0'd by a less known player sLivko in the same group. Bad day I guess? Seems to have trouble with zerg. Oh well, he still beats Genius regularly
He mentioned in the interview that he hasn't practiced vs Zerg in a month, since he's only played vs Protoss and Terran in GSL. His PvT and PvP are top notch, his PvZ....isn't.
His PvZ can be just as good, since we all know who he beaten, but ye ofc, he hasn't focused on it at all due to GSL, which is resonable and luckly, there aren't any zergs in RO8, so fuck ye, Naniwa for new foreigner record!
Sign me up please! I would've joined Nani's fan club a long time ago but I haven't been posting on here until now.
Nani, keep up the great work you do and keep following your dreams and one day they will come true. You are my #1 favourite Starcraft2 player that I love to follow! Good luck in the GSL Top8, but remember no matter how it goes you've already accomplished way above and beyond people's wildest dreams this season.

i was hating HuK, but now, i hate MC as well.
These guys need to stop being jelly, naniwa improved soo much in last 3 month and he deserving more respect than this.
Yeah, I kind of agree to some extent, I really look different on HuK nowadays, he really comes off as kind of an asshole. Sorry if I'm using strong words but that's how I thought of him when I read this.
Might just be me but I think this is really embarrassing. Why not focus on the ability to play instead? And NaNi would probably kick HuKs cheesy ass anytime nowadays.
Anyway, I really hope NaNi's Code S run continues! Fighting~
Man I'm so pissed, I couldn't attend DH Stockholm, but I asked my friends to get Naniwas autograph, guess what they returned with? NajzMajz's autograph.... such a disappointment =(
Nani, don't pay the haters any attention, they are just jealous, much love from Sweden! <3

I'm not sure I would take it so seriously... Of all the trash talk going around between pro level players, most of it is for show. Some people try to play up the animosities between players based on comments in interviews, and so on. MC is known for being cocky and for showing off whenever he can, and for the most part, I like that about him.
Anyway, I know Naniwa won't care, and I don't think I will either.

I'm pretty sure MC and HuK really don't like Nani. But Nani only care enough to reverse troll them when he wins

MC has always been mildly antagonistic with Naniwa since the first time they met at an mlg and Nani manner danced his zealots thinking he'd won only to die to mc's surprise dt's. It was mostly a friendly rivalry thing though that continued on at other mlg's and homestory cup etc. I think MC only truly soured on Naniwa after providence and the blizzard cup thing because of cultural perceptions about professionalism. It's unfortunate that two of my fav tosses don't like each other but nothing to hate MC over even if he's rooting for mvp to win in ro8.
Huk has always had a rivalry with Naniwa but I don't think either actually hates each other, so much as both being a bit prideful. I've seen them snarky with each other on twitter as well as playful and while they definitely see each other as a hurdle to overcome when competing there are pictures of them hanging out during tournaments.
It may just be that I happen to like all three players but honestly as long as they don't go out of their way to somehow try and ruin each other's career I'm willing to let them express jealously or childishness in interviews. They've all been guilty of it on occasion after all. ~
I'm mildly concerned about Naniwa in spring arena 2. He's trying to qualify from the NA region and theres about 8 good zergs that could stop him since he's so out of practice PvZ. I'm hoping he avoids them and gets through since it's just not MLG without Nani and Huk there to take the top placing foreigners title. Honestly though I think if Nani continues to do well in gsl this season and in future ones we may see less of him in international tournaments since they'd just be distractions for him. I'm kind of ok with that if it means consistent deep code s runs though.
The link/comment about autism could be interpreted as really really harsh... but I don't really get the accusation? Naniwa, just like me, seems to be rather quiet because he prefers to keep his thoughts to himself, and don't really care what other people say unless their arguments are interesting/relevant... if that's sign of autism, it just shows how truly stupid the majority of this world is.. if anything I would say that those things would be signs of an intelligent person..
To all this branding of autism: I like how humans wants to place everyone in a neat box as far as social skill/ aptitude. Even if the whole "autistic scale" is even accurate/ applicable, what is the point of talking about it? That isn't that helpful, (especially in a fan club wtf?)
To me he just seems like a very sensitive, harsh/honest, shy, and Young guy (angry and prone to mischief, sorry look at basic stats on young males.) It sucks to have that type of personality and deal with life; fucking really hard if you have to be in a public spotlight and have people talk shit about you without even knowing you.
I just hope that the progamers/ progaming community doesn't hold his carpy reputation against him, since it seems obvious that training and practice from others is very necessary (big chunk of credit to SaSe) for anybody to succeed anywhere. I hope that nani is willing to reciprocate and help others as well...
I suppose the amazing thing is that he has had the ambition to go and do (and keep doing) as much as he has. HFGL nani

...maybe I just massively misunderstood you, but the tweet Huk was lol'ing about was supposed to be about the EG-house, i.e. Huk's team house... Naniwa just happened to be among the recipients, it wasn't in any way a joke at his expense.
Unless you mean you think Huk's an asshole for thinking it was funny to compare his own team to a home for autistic people, which I think might be a bit harsh.

Yeah, Naniwa said in the post-DH interview from just two days ago that he thought it was absurd that Huk had recieved so much hate lately, so if Huk really does dislike him (which I doubt), it seems to be very one sided.
