Sheesh, some of the people in this thread are brutal yo. This is suppose to be the Nony fanclub not, come hate on Tyler thread.

Anyway, sad to hear about the results, and sad to hear about the difficulties of working with the tournament admins (or supposed lack there of). Hopefully the tournament organizers will put a bit more effort into running their next tournament, even though it is unfortunate that these issues weren't already addressed earlier. I hope your [Nony] attitude towards the game and your career goals takes the right direction for you.

Breaks my heart seeing this. I suffer from depression and am compulsive introvert so I know how Nony feels but theres a line not to be crossed I feel it's been crossed with this tournament malarkey. Nony is becoming a liability for Team Liquid.

So is not playing out the full series?

what are they gonna do about it? i didnt ask for this. it was only after i decided to play it and put effort into playing it that they offered to replace me.

if i signed up for this tournament i would be thinking very differently about the rules. you can find out how a tournament is gonna go when you sign up and either agree or not. but to invite someone to a tournament and not tell them anything about it is fucked up. invite me to the tournament, give me the job of scheduling and managing all my own matches, and then when they hear im having a problem scheduling my match, replace me. yeah yeah

Not like your career is getting any better, how about put some *real* effort of your own into it. Nobody else seems to be having these problems.

what career? i am not trying. i thought that was pretty clear. put real effort into not trying? you make no fucking sense kid

Dang NonY... Time to hang up the gloves then I guess? What's really going on here? We all know you have a problem with depression from time to time but, who doesn't?

If you're not putting 100% effort into SC2, then I hope you are at least putting that effort into your family overall... or even yourself in some other potential career.

Good luck to you in the future, whatever you choose to do.
After I captured the elephant in the room, swept her under the rug for the hell of it... I welcome you to the melting through, of a planet that was selfish in its development of a healthy view.

This is really annoying to look at in this FAN-thread. People do apparently not see the "FAN" part and just consider this as any kind of thread. Stop lashing out when there is no need for it. If you want to criticize then make a thread or blog about it, even though you might think it is justified to write it here, stop doing it -.-

I am looking forward to seeing you compete again NonY. Take care and start smashing some nerds.

Just another thing that Nony does once again to misrepresent his team. Embarrassing yet again keep up tarnishing TL with your shitty attitude. And congrats on being the IdrA of Team Liquid. Fits you perfectly with your shitty attitude towards the game and pretty much your team now. Retire and have TL perma ban you from ever posting on the forums again so we dont have to listen to your stupid excuses. If you dont try quit the fucking game and retire from TL forever and never show your face in the community because now no one wants you to even be apart of it considering your actions the past few weeks.

Just shows that TL wont punish someone who is clearly giving their team bad cred with stupid antics like this. Any other team would have suspended someone or done something to punish these actions. Nony your garbage so good riddance.

I'm not saying i want him to suddenly be the best player in the world and im not saying i want him to practice 15 hours a day. All I'm saying is that i think he's great at being Nony and i love that Nony.

Tyler thought it was a bo1? I can't believe he thinks anyone is gullible enough to believe that, but sadly it appears some of his fans do believe everything he says no matter how illogical. This is tyler once again not admitting fault or talking responsibility for his actions. Rage quitting matches is a repeat pattern with him.

He has rage quit NASL matches before and left after losing game 1 in a bo3 in NASL and was unreachable as like this case. When asked about it on SOTG, instead of admitting fault or talking responsibility, he goes the no comment route. He says it's not a players place to talk about these issues and that it's the team's responsibility to talk about it if they see fit. Of course TL never made a statement about it since they never do when Tyler rage quits his matches.

Tyler has also rage quit the ONOG tournament after losing game 1 to catz, but in this case I'll give him credit as he did admit fault there.

Tyler asked for his fans to vote him into this tourney on twitter. He didn't have time to play his matches the first time because he had scheduled to watch the LoL world finals. He was given a 2nd chance and now once again blames the tournament and expects us to believe that he thought it was a bo1? He didn't have time to play what he thought was 1 game over the course of 7 days? He now tells his fans that he doesn't care at all and put no effort into it, so why ask them to vote for you in the first place if you didn't care?

Him thinking it was a bo1 would be more believable if he didn't already have a history with rage quitting matches before they were done. This is just a convenient excuse to escape blame, gain sympathy from his fans and again to shift blame to the tournament organizers.

Nazgul should make another statement regarding his behaviour, cause this isn't acceptable or reasonable behaviour coming from a pro and makes team liquid look bad. They've ignored tyler's past transgressions in the past and are enablers because they never do anything to stop it because of his bw history. If team liquid truly cared about tyler, they would help him out instead of turning a blind eye and enabling his behaviour with non action.

Oh, cram it.

Nobody is going to deny that there's something wrong, but to suggest that Nony is now or ever has brought TL down is just foolish.

Maybe it -is- time for another Liquid retirement. Obviously Tyler is a smart enough guy to do any number of good things with the many years he's got left, but it's completely understandable that it wouldn't be an easy decision to make considering how much Nony had invested into becoming a progamer, and what pressure we as fans put on him to succeed. It wouldn't surprise me to hear that every loss and tournament feels to Tyler like he's personally failing a whole lot of us, and that it's part of the pressure that causes him to react as he does.

Tyler, you're a good guy regardless. Nobody but you can know if you were irresponsible in this, and nobody but you and your team should judge you for it. Best of luck in whatever you do, and if you do keep playing in tournaments, know that I'll be watching!

Add me.

While you scrubs are jumping off the bandwagon, I'm jumping in. I think this is performance art on the finest level, you sad haters won't understand it, but i think Nony just needs to hit rock bottom before he turns it around.

Every great story has 3 acts.... this is the end of Act 2, where he tarnishes himself and TL's reputation.

In act 3 he'll join EG and become a bonjwa. Calling it now.

Tyler, just relax and try to get a clear mind in all of this. You should take a break from all of this drama, ignore it for now and decide what you should do that makes you happy in life. Just know that your fans support you regardless of whatever career decisions you make.
All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

Constructive criticism is one thing. Spewing shit all over his fanclub with no real point or end goal is another.

We all know Nony has been dealing with tough personal problems. This doesn't excuse him from any sort of behaviour, however if there is one place that is supportive for him, it is this fanclub.

Why are you on a professional team like teamliquid if you are not trying. Retire so that they can get more good koreans like taeja, zenio, hero and sea.
