Does anyone have VODs of his hilarious games from this morning, where he send squads of brofestors around the map, totally demolishing some poor korean zerg. Also, the game where he 8 pool+3 spine rushed another zerg, lost miserably and yelled HACKER before ragequitting. Epic moments :D

I wouldn't call it rage quitting, he was just super fucking tired, and wanted to try something fucking retarded. It was freaking hilarious.

If you actually watched the game you would have saw that all of Terran's ghosts pretty much EMP'd the exact same place like 7 times, Destiny didn't have a single Overseer on the map to detect cloaked ghosts....if the Terran was just a little bit more patient and actually controlled his EMP's more efficiently he would have got most of the Infestors, if not all of them, and the Terran army would have been able to roll Destiny's ling force. I am not saying everything is balanced, but the Terran player definitely had the composition to deal with Infestors effectively, he just didn't use it. Mass Infestors are just like a 200/200 Protoss army...you cannot let it happen. The Terran player didnt let it happen in the two games that followed and won the set convincingly.

He had to EMP the same place multiple times because if he EMP'ed once, the infestors would still have 100 energy left. He spread them out as well as he could (2 in each spot) and it still wasn't enough. The fact that Destiny didn't have an overseer to detect them and STILL demolished his army is ridiculous (my favorite word to describe infestors). I don't know about ZvP, but in TvP, terran has a sufficient answer to a 200/200 Protoss army, but no one has an army to deal with Brood Lord/Infestor. That's basically asking terrans not to play a macro game with Zerg, which is what most (smart) terrans are doing with the SlayerS blue flame marine drop.

"The terran player didn't let it happen" - That's not my argument. My argument isn't that TvZ is impossible, which it certainly isn't. My argument is that, once achieved, the Broodlord/Infestor composition is unstoppable, and there is no other race that has an unbeatable army composition like that.

I absolutely love watching Destiny's heavy infestor play. It makes for some truly exciting games.

I also completely agree that infestors do not need to be nerfed right now. Now that massing infestors is becoming a little more well known (not many Zergs go for it at a high level), other races will figure out how to deal with it. It also can be a matter of not letting the Zerg well... be a Zerg. By that I mean more closely to the lore of how the Zerg function - they want to take over entire areas, so they rapidly expand and destroy things mostly through a large mass of units. I am sure the top Protoss/Terran players out there will find a way to deal with this strategy effectively. They may not beat it every time, but that's all part of the game. If it's a good strategy, even if your opponent knows you're going for it, it still will be DIFFICULT to stop. Not IMPOSSIBLE.

So hypothetically if we know their whole strategy before the game even begins, and we prepare for the heavy ling/infestor into brood lord play, it will still be hard to beat it? What happens when zerg tech switches (because they only need to build ONE building to mass a completely different composition) while terrans are stuck on Ghosts and Vikings and then a mutalisk (or ultralisk) tech switch comes?

Congratulations Destiny on the show-match against DDE. Very solid play. You've inspired me to continue to work on my infestor micro. Keep up the good work.

So, Destiny's stream is the Only Sc2 stream I will watch. He's such a baller =D More than 50% of my games I brofestor hit squad now

He really deserves a big win sometime soon, I kind of hope he gets picked up by a team soon, just so he can go to more tourneys and stuff.

Anyway, sign me up, Destiny is amazing! Here's to Destiny

Look ok, you noob, Destiny is one of the greatest players on the fucking planet. You know how good he is? He's even fucking better than fucking Spanishiwa. That's how fucking good he is. You know how good he is? He could take a game off Day 9 in a best of 7. THAT'S how fucking good he is. Don't you dare question him you fucking cunt. He's our glorious homophobic, sexist, racist overlord and, like the lovely little 4chan sluts we are we love that shit. Don't even attempt to critique an aspect of his flawless play you fucking dumb shit. God.

Are you serious? Learn how to adjust your play? I also addressed this - Terran/Protoss players need to figure out what to do when they see heavy infestor play. You're just whining about imbalance.

And how to deal with it may not be a matter of "mass produce ghosts and vikings" or something similar that is strictly about unit compositiion.

Sign me up. Been watching since January, this is easily the most entertaining stream but at the same time Steven has improved a lot. I still remember the days where his ZvZ consisted of being behind in bases and units and basically microing his way back into the game. =]
