The starcraft reddit is being overrun with all things Destiny related.

I decided to make a subreddit for him, to help with this.

In all honesty this idea is going to need a lot of moderation to work. Look at r/day9 for example, it exists yet there are still large amounts of post about day9 on /r/starcraft. People post it on starcraft because they want to get the attention of everyone who plays starcraft. If we made a /r/ for every starcraft celebrity whats the point of /r/starcraft in the first place?

Agreed Dudeman,

Thing that's unique about Destiny, is that he has a massive following, not as big as day9, but his viewer count goes anywhere from 2-10k viewers during streams. I'm also assuming that 10-30% use reddit, and post on /r/. So like, 1/4 of r/starcraft is destiny. Not that I'm complaining, but when a topic within a broader topic get's popular enough, it's a good idea to create a new thread.

Can someone explain to me the deal with this DDOS kid? It seem that destiny and others been chatting to him on skype more then one time, and even though they make fun of him it often seem like kinda chill and relaxed.

I mean if I got ddos attacked and lost money I would probably be alot more pissed off. Has the kid explained why he does it etc because destiny dont seem to bother? why is the idiot sitting there and talking to them in the first place, what is his goal?

@Ghost: He's not doing the judge judy case because he found out from the producer, that the maximum he can claim from the family is $5000. Essentially, he wants to destroy them.

@Purpose: It's because Destiny is a bigger troll than the DDOSer, but a just troll. The kid is stupid, and still thinks he can get some money out of Destiny. Also, whenever he calls or talks to Destiny, he's high or drunk...so that might account for the reason he called Destiny in the first place.

So Destiny wants to take the kid's family to real court? I thought the point of going on Judge Judy was to humiliate the kid in front of a national audience. I'm a bit disappointed because I was looking forward to watching Destiny troll the kid in real life on television :\

Going on Judge Judy was a ridiculous, albeit funny, idea. It's not a real court room. JJ gets to rule based on whatever reasoning she wants (i.e. not based on actual law), first of all, so if she wanted she could decide that Destiny should "get a real job" and rule against him. Would she even understand how streaming for a living works or what ddos is? Second, the defendant is paid to be there and if ruled against the money is paid to Destiny by the show, not by the kid's family. There is a reason guilty parties agree to be on the show so frequently and that's because it's typically in their best interest.

Hey does anyone know exactly what Destiny's housing situation is? I'm just curious because before you could hear Nathan and his girlfriend, Rachel I think, in the background and now you can hear coLCruncher and Catz and stuff even though he's not part of their team.

He was ranked 11, but he has lost a couple games. Now he is like 14th I think.

EDIT: LOL. Just got top ten GM by proxying a hatch in Deezer's base.
