Who else discovered that a 6 gate timing push just before stim could win you games cuz terran only go 4 rax. Who else discovered that you can be aggressive off of 1 gate by chronoboosting it twice and do tons of damage if there is no bunker and fast expand if there is a bunker. Who else qualifies? Yup MC was the only toss I watched to copy builds so sad to see him knocked out of GSL. Jinro better win the whole thing now!

Grats to Jinro and all (and I'm sure I'll be banned for saying this), but MC lost those games - Jinro didn't win them. That's stupid. Just because one player did mistakes don't mean the other "didn't" win it. You might have a point if Jinro player poorly himself, but I don't think you can argue that with a straight face.

Idra has also said in an interview that he sees Jinro as being the best Terran player. Direct quote from G4TV interview: In your opinion who do you think are the most impressive players for each race? Why? TSL_Fruitdealer for Zerg, TLAF-Liquid`Jinro for Terran, and oGsMC for Protoss. Fruitdealer and MC are simply far more skilled than any other Zerg or Protoss player. And with Jinro, it’s because he's one of the few Terrans who actually plays the game instead of just doing random stupid all-ins every time. And he does it quite well.

MC is a good player, very innovative, but he is still human, and therefore can be beaten. Although he may have been beaten there was still a lot of good in his play that all of uss tosses can use to improve our play. This game is still far too young for a true bonjwa to start his reign. Remember, it took starcraft like 2 or 3 years to spawn boxer. So until that time, just relax, it is almost impossible for one single player to already start dominating since every tournament has such different strategies and these tournaments are only moths apart! Time will tell if MC truly the big protoss hero or not.

When my buddy watches me play I shake a little bit, I have to take deep breaths, I'm one of those nervous players. So I really feel for someone who does poorly initially because of nerves. So when I heard about a protoss player who talks to himself to calm himself, being a protoss player myself, I was instantly a fan. What I'm hoping MC will realize is calming himself should be taken very seriously, and as much as you want to take on this cocky persona that never loses, even though you have more than enough potential to back it up, you should restrain yourself at times for the sake of focus. I genuinely wonder if MC was even talking to himself, part of me thinks he outgrew that aspect of himself, but a larger part thinks differently. I feel like Jinro's play style effected MC a bit too negatively, granted Jinro's strategy was blindingly good. In the first game after MC cleared his naga tower for the first time he looked lost in his play. He was playing at Jinro's speed entirely, and it's just so rare to see MC taken out of tempo. The second game really speaks for itself. MC had no chance with such a slow developing strategy. I really hope MC isn't discouraged, although he seemed devastated after losing. I hope he makes whatever changes he needs to to become champion again.

I don't think anyone can argue that if any other person had been in MC's seat we wouldn't even be talking about the matches - that's how unremarkable and blunder-filled the games were to me. On paper the games sound great, which makes it all the more disappointing that it just seemed like any other Code A lolstomp when it came down to execution.

MC had no idea how to play against Jinro's style. He was expecting one thing and got something totally different. For a game to be decided (for one player or other), one needs to make a mistake (or more mistakes than the other). He looked at Jinro's play and countered to the best of his ability. The only real "mistake" he made was letting those hellions in his mineral line on LT. Every other mistake wasn't a blunder as much as it was a strategical decision. He had no idea what to do. Every bit of credit needs to go to Jinro. MC didn't mess up, he just got beat.

oGsMC is soooooooooo good, that the only way he could have played that poorly (which wasn't really that poor) is if he was on drugs
