Unless IdrA goes on a racial tirade it's not going to hurt the scene. People either root for him or against him but as long as they tune in, he's helping. EDIT: Anybody else amazed by the number of times IdrA has mentioned that Kiwikaki is good recently? He didn't use to feel that way before. Actually, I remember of a SOTG back before Huk went to Korea where Idra stated that he thought based on where they were in the beta/early release that Kiwi had improved a lot more and was a better player, so he has thought for a long time that Kiwi is a really talented player.
He's also been quoted in asking 'how did kiwi place' etc. While in Korea he seemed to keep tabs on a few players. Kiwi being one of them

Idra has mentioned on SOTG his respect for Kiwikaki, and that he has always had trouble against him and his style.

Sarcastic tone by Cruncher I am assuming even with the interview BM I can't see him saying that for absolutely NO reason :/

As much as I like Idra, the post-HUK game interview BM was really stupid/low/uncalled for and just made him look like a jackass.

you will always need BM players like Idra, he adds flavour to esport thats for sure. Though he might want to start winning something if he wants to keep this up. Being BM, get knocked out and then only blame imb, OP, maps, chees etc wont work forever.
Idra acts like he is nr1 but he is just so far from it.

Creating drama attracts the wrong kind of viewers to the scene. It turns it into the cesspool that a lot of FPS communities are.
Realize that if you want e-sports to grow, you DO NOT want a trashtalking nerd gamer kid stereotype representing it and you DO NOT want fans of similar mentality. That kind of scene might attract some extra viewers in some cultures (that the community is better off without anyway), but in a long run it will only block any further growth and keep it away from mainstream.
Also, compare some other western e-sports that generate that kind of "drama" to the Korean BW scene which is strictly professional and holds up to very high standards of behaviour - it's not that hard to see which one is more successful, more popular, more profitable and more mainstream. So how about we look up to something that's actually proven to work instead?
So no, personal drama and childishness isn't a recipe for the success of e-sports. That stuff can only help some fringe competitive video games or some "sports" specifically designed to cater to that kind of "audience". Starcraft is neither, at least I hope.

Watch his post tournament interview. He straight up gave TLO the win because he knew that TLO was ahead and deserved the win. He gave no excuses for the loss. So no when he losses straight up he often does not blame it on balance
