This isn't about who deserved to win, it's about it being quite funny to see IdrA get bmed back once in a while.

I like IdrAs style and seeing him play, but you have got to admit it's funny.

If anyhow possible they should get MC's and Alicias opinion in there if they ever do that. Those top tosses sure have thought very much about the matter and I would love to have their view on ff's.

I am not here to tell Idra or other Zergs what units to make, that wasent my intent.

I was trying to explain to people why more supply does not mean you played better, especially when you compare a macro Zerg who has the cheapest units in the game vs a Protoss who litterally made the most expensive units he almost could (bar Carriers).

Go in the game now, and play as both races, make the same units and see how fast each hits max, supply has no barring on skill or who played better.

To be frank, that was a map issue and not a match up issue.

What game are you playing? A 6 gate push that fast off 2 base is definitely all in, especially when you cut probes and tech like Cruncher did.

I have plenty of knowledge on the matchup

Idra had plenty of econ to build whatever he wanted in game 1, he simply chose not to get Hive or any other tech.

Besides this is his fanclub, i was merely explaining to people who could not wrap their mind that supply=/=skill especially when its ZvP. I explained that well, thanks.

6 gate is all-in. You have nothing to fall back on. All-in means there is no clear next step. This is the case. He had no many probes and only a 6 mineral-1gas expo.

He had no forge or council, means no upgrades in the foreseeable future or templar, he had no robotics to get colossi out. He would have had no sentries left if it would have failed. He would have no way to defend against IdrA's next wave of units, which would either be just mass roach or hydras. No forcefields, no upgrades and no tier 3 tech vs. hydras is not even close.

And scouting was made easier for protoss. Hallucination.

I didn't see Cruncher cut probes, he was chronoboosting them last time the observer showed his main base. And considering I do 6 gate all the time, I know how all in it really is.

So when did we establish his skill and knowledge? If that were an issue here I would ask you what credentials you have to make all of these "all-knowing" posts and analysis.

Yeah, because hallucinate isn't a viable scouting method right? 0 cost pheonix can give you all the intel you need.

I'm not talking about detection, I'm talknig about scouting. Protoss has this covered.

Having to use hallucinate as a means of scouting cuts into your sentry energy and means you have to have a sentry heavy army if you want to have constant scouting. That is not a problem if you wish to follow that tech path anyway, but what if you don't want to? Then you are forced to change the way you play.

I'm kind of disappointed that this was played 1.2, maybe IdrA could've held the first game with infestors. Disappointed to see him go to a 6 gate =( Hope IdrA will smash some nerd faces at MLG!

6gate is an allin, if u are doing it in 2k point diamond league and think its not - makes no difference to a reallity, its still is
