The stupidest things I've ever seen in my life are Sarah Palin and the protoss mothership vortex archon toilet. It's literally a giant psi storm that auto-kills everything it hits. If Greg were allowed to get up out of his booth and punch the other player in the face, that would be less stupid than the vortex.
Also, I'd rather see Idra playing against people like Alive and losing than playing against NA GMs and winning.

Not even talking about who is favored in the match up, it really is a bad match up. Again for those who can't read this is not talking about balance.
The match up is just incredibly boring. There isn't much action like zvt for example and it normally comes down to whether toss has good FF control or not. If they have bad FF placements, zerg rolls over them and toss looks bad, if FF are good zerg gets rolled over and zerg looks bad. Late game scenario is the same thing its just late game who engages the best. I mean I rarely watch zvp and go "jesus christ that game was so entertaining for a 35 minute zvp!". Most of the time tosses do two base all ins anyway it seems.
idk in general its just a boring match up and I just am rarely entertained by it like I am in zvt :/.

-.- from the guy who for a week had 6 pooled every game vP out of frustration, no its pretty dumb. I feel like I either killed him because a. his army was out of position / poor positioning or b. he let me macro too freely and i just run him over... and when i lose i go a. wow protoss units are gay or b. yo i wish my roaches were fucking massive so they could do shit

I completely agree. It's boring to watch and it's boring to play. I feel frustrated when I lose and unsatisfied when I win. It's like it all comes down to some quick luck rather than actually playing better than your opponent consistently throughout the match.

Yeah and to Idra's credit this has always been his main gripe with the match up. People just assume when they hear Idra and Protoss he's just complaining about blink stalkers being OP or Colossus but that's not the full story. The match up is just so fundamentally flawed and is in dire need for some major reworks. These reworks do not include Immortals and Phoenix with increased range lol

Yea, ZvP is becoming like the old ZvZ when ZvZ was Roach v Roach. Can anyone find the comic where some guy missed an inject and his line of roaches was getting smaller until he lost and said "Enlightening".
Also, awesome interview EG!
P.S. Thanks for all of the happy birthdays yesterday! <3

HerO loves pvz JYP loves pvz ret ... ... sheth ... ... whiterah ... ... mc (even tho he said toss is favoured) nerchio stephano
and the list goes on.

Quite agree with Idra's opinion. I don't think Ghost will be un-used though, EMP and nukes are still extremely powerful

I'm a huge Idra fan. This does not mean that I support everything he does or condemn everything he does. It means to me that I enjoy his games immensely. When he wins it's a great feeling and I am glad I was along for the ride, when he loses, I feel frustrated, but I always stick with Greg.
The MLG winter arena is coming up and I am once again excited. Will he make it through the first round? The odds are against him, Oz is certainly favored. I will still cheer for Greg no matter what the outcome, consider me a fan forever. Good luck @ MLG Idra, and if you do win, do it in style.

how about a link to the interview?
and you cant count players like MC, of course they love ZvP they only have to suffer through 12 minutes of it tops
name a single pro and link the interview where they said "ZvP is perfect and doesnt need changes"

That isn't what they are getting at I think , those people love ZvP / PvZ because they understand how to play it. Whether its enjoyable or not for them / the viewers is a whole different issue.
For example , I like ZvZ as compared to ZvT and ZvP , why? because even at masters there are zergs who completely dont understand how to play it resulting in almost easy wins most of the time and more points for me ^^. But ultimately i always dread zvz , because it is actually very stale and boring for me unless one of us goes muta then it becomes a little more fun .

Stephano has said he really loves the match up and at least implies that he thinks highly of the match up: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=228601¤tpage=174.
Here's the excerpt of the interview (which was translated):
"Ok, so can you tell us why you train so much in ZvP ? It is not the race you face most in tournaments.
It is the matchup I enjoy most. It is not random at all. If you do things properly, everything goes nicely. So I seldom lose. Since I always do the same."

We'll see how Stephano fares in just three hours at the Asus Rog, won't we?

this is not the stephano fanclub ^^

From a spectator POV protoss is just a poorly designed race, that's all.

I think the ZvP 2 base all in era was really lame too.
I still think its hard to deal with the 4-6 colosuss 2 base all in as zerg. Luckily I dont ever play against that anymore.
