IdrA(who is apparently bad?!?!?!?!) beat Boxer followed by Hongun and then Bomber. He beat three CODE S PLAYERS!!! Code S and now he's bad because he didn't do well in his first tournament since he returned to korea? Now he's bad because he lost A game to sheth? Other then that random protoss he lost to Nestea one of the best Zergs in the world, Lucky another incredibly good zerg, and Sheth who only won one game. WOW SOME OF YOU ARE RIGHT IDRAS TERRIBLE!!!! If you don't like IdrA please leave his fan club. He played more matches than just those, the 0-4 vs Taeja and aLive for instance. He also lost in some NASTL match.

If you lose to an extremely good player, then there is no shame losing to them. Taeja made Lucky (a Code S quality player) look silly yesterday, and if you ever heard of NEXLife, and NSHSseal, then watch their results vs Taeja in previous ESV weeklies. On the other hand, aLive isn't in Code S round 4 for nothing. Losing a BO1 to HerO is not that bad, you watched Dimaga vs HerO yet ? Maybe the match vs Sheth was a little more important, but its not like he would earn that much if he won.

Horrible slumps happen to everyone, they tend to get worse for someone who is known for tilting. Be patient and Idra'll start showing us who he really is again. Aside from the GSL, none of those matches were that important.

Most of the players he faced were just really good and it's not a shame to lose to them. The problem is that for every foreigner, the number of "sick good" Koreans that you're expected to lose to starts to get into like the dozens. I guess I had higher hopes for IdrA and his three months in the SlayerS house, I hoped maybe he could be competitive in Code A or higher with just a bit of training and adjusting to the Korean playstyles. And if one starts counting on IdrA crushing foreigners with his newfound strength after training at 100x gravity in the Korean gyms, or so, then at some point it still gets to be pointless, because taking wins off of foreigners has gotten so irrelevant by now. ![]()

This is just a matter of meaning so I'm not going to press this point after this post (and Sheth himself did say it was a "build order" loss, although I think he was being a "mannered bear" and throwing Idra a bone). But a "build order loss" is typically used to refer to a build that directly counters his opponent's build and thus, unless you get really lucky or your opponent is vastly inferior to you, you will lose. That is not the case at all w/14/14 v. 15 hatch, 15 pool. The player who goes 14/14 will have speed first and an army and tech advantage early in the match that can be used to do damage. A "build order loss" could be used, for instance, to refer to a player who goes 16 hatch, 17 pool v. 10 pool + spines -- nearly impossible to hold off no matter how good you are. All I'm saying is that after sheth went hatch first Idra was in no way out of the game (as he would be if it were simply a "build order loss"). He would be at a disadvantage if he failed to do damage and that's what happened, except that he not only failed to do damage but sheth actually came out ahead after the attack (probably because of lag or a simple misclick by Idra) and at that point Idra was dead.
