I am thinking TLO inspired a new wave of zerg harass: fungal growth in the mineral line.
Maybe people have already been doing this and I was just in the dark, but that seems like a ridiculously powerful strat. Just drop two infestors near the mineral line, shoot two FGs in the same spot, and you just got an easy 3-6(made those numbers up, but you get the idea) worker kills.
Whether or not he was the first to do it, I will happily attribute that bit of genuis to TLO. Definitely the most fun player to watch in the beta so far.

TLO wins because he is using Infestors and his opponent sticks to boring Roach / Hydra; does this tell any Zerg players anything? Probably not, because they are complaining about the uselessness of their caster in another thread or two here ...
Should Infestors have Dark Swarm ability? New Infestor Ability - Tentacle Grab
It doesnt matter if Artosis or TLO wins easily over other Zerg while using Infestors ... that unit was declared as useless, so it doesnt get built. Their loss and TLOs gain ...

Really it's people like this who make eSports viable and entertaining to watch. The creative players keep sc alive imo. Need more players like TLO! Agree, love his unconventional build orders that works.

I think his mechanics arnt that bad. Not consistent amongst all his races, but he spends his money very well compared to most sc2 players at the moment.

He is a great player. His innovation and money management is top notch.

TLO is rly great player. hope we can see some more replays from him

amazing games once again

Howdy folks!
Just seeing his two TvT matches against BratOK reminded me of "ye ol' West" ... two Cowboys dueling and whoever draws his "250 mm Strike Cannon" first wins.

game 2 & 3 vs Brat_Ok = yet more magic

Uhhh... 3-6 workers (150-300 minerals) at a cost of 200 minerals and 300 gas (not counting the overlord or the overlord upgrades)? No. That game against koll was already over at that point, not to mention it was a very peculiar decision for koll to transfer all his probes from his hidden expansion to his high yield at that particular moment.
If anything, baneling drops are more effective at the same goal while being more cost effective.

we have again two matches from TLO today.
1st: TLO vs. Lucifron in the Razer Domination Cup -> streamed by glhf.tv
2nd: TLO vs White-Ra in a showmatch, organized by fragster.de -> streamed by DAY9

If you assume that you got infestors for the sole purpose of harrassing then yes, that would be silly. But if you already have infestors, then it would be a good tactic. Infestors are becoming a common unit to get in ZvZ, especially when both players have mass roach. If you already have them, why not use them to pick off workers when they have extra energy.
For example, you don't get HTs and a shuttle for the sole purpose of storm drops, but since you end up getting HTs in most matchups, storm drops are a useful way to harass. It isn't like the HTs become useless after they cast their first storm, you pick them up and run away.
And the game versus Koll was not already over at that point. They were on a similar number of expansions and army size was fairly close. TLO had the advantage but the game was far from over.

TLO is awsome.. Thinks outside the box.. Currenly he is my favorite player ( alongside WhO and Painkiller ).
