Girls’ Day has finished recording a remake of a Fin.K.L classic.
Come August 27, Girls’ Day will release a new digital single titled Blue Rain 2012. The track is a remake of Fin.K.L’s debut track, Blue Rain, which was first released back in 1998. The remake track is part of composer Shin In Soo’s 20th anniversary project album, The S.
The remake will feature the youthful emotions of the original but will feature a more modern-day sound with the inclusion of an acoustic guitar and a new rap portion.
Loon Communication share, “Blue Rain is not only the debut track of first-generation idol group, Fin.K.L but is also the track that helped them gain recognition and continues to receive love and interest today, often being selected as the track most wanted to be remade [in surveys]."
