Oh and I would say The Boys is their worst song... but they're still winning awards... Nature of SNSD. They already have so much power in the music industry.

Yeah I don't know why it says 미정 lol but Fany is playing the role of Carmen so maybe it's a mistake or something idk.
The Boys might be unpopular here in this thread, but their album is a consistent high seller. Their style for this promotion is really interesting to people, with lots of sones even saying this is now their favorite over Genie. For me, Genie is #1, but I really really like this song. I can't get enough of it.

Oh that Hwayoung stuff, the third spoilered pic is Hyomin.

i would argue that the album is a consistent high seller because its SNSD.

Sigh... imagine how little hate and just how dominating it all would have been if they danced to Trick :/

Their album is quite good, 8 of their songs made it onto my playlist. But seriously how can anyone think this is remotely close to any of their better songs. Sure people may have personal opinions but come on. ITNW, Kissing You, Baby Baby, Girls' Generation, Himnae, Gee, Genie, RDR, Mr.Taxi and Bad Girl are far superior.

For me The Boys isn't what SNSD is all about while more or less every other track on their new album is exactly what SNSD is like. If they wanted to change their image from so cute into a bit more mature one they should have done something more similar to their japanese album.

To be fair.. They could make the worst album ever made in k-pop history and still be a high seller because of their massive fan base and status.

While I won't try to argue that The Boys is better than any of the others on that list, but... Bad Girl? Superior? Really? It's not exactly what I would be inclined to label typical SNSD either but at least The Boys has at least a semblance of attitude and character. Bad Girl was just tacky and shoddily put together :/

Are you talking about the bad girl NV or the song because the song was pretty awesome.I just deny the NV exists.

Side note all of my friends who don't listen to kpop really like bad girl out of all the kpop and kpop I've played for them.

Yeah, I was talking about the song too. I dunno, maybe I'm just an anomaly but I kinda thought that The Great Escape and Mr. Taxi shat all over the rest of the album and don't really listen to it much anymore. But I mean live performances are misleading I feel. The atmosphere helps tremendously.
I dunno, I mean, I saw the kpop fest in Sydney and after seeing it done live, it sort of cemented it up there as one of the top songs for me. It's unorthodox, but I don't believe it's in any way bad. Maybe it's just the effect of seeing it live that's throwing me though.
Maybe I'm just bitter that I wanted a Great Escape MV and got that pile of trash instead

Yeah, I was like... a foot away from the performers. I always thought that Nicole and Seungyeon were stupidly overrated and average by normal girl standards [Read: ugly by kpop standards.
