Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up.

I'm sorry, maybe I just wasn't used to the "flamebaiting" and "trolling" that all you guys claim to be so common around here that really isn't so common and is completely ban worthy in the rest of TL. For the last time people talk about music when it's new, but so much of kpop is them performing the same godddamn song for months and so there's often not much new to talk about.

There's nobody stopping non kpop discussion, I can remember quite a few times where korean hip-hop was being discussed.

More people in this thread follow kpop than other korean music so of course its going to dominate the thread, which in turn results in more discussion about the performers themselves instead of the music (simply due to the fact that the music content is a lot less frequent then any other type of content form these idols).

If you're the type of person who really values actual music discussion instead of idol discussion, then why not create a lot of worthwhile posts about the music? Many people here don't really have much input about songs and music, I know personally I can only say whether I like a song or not, that's about as deep as I'll really go to talk about how I feel about a song. And frankly I don't really know what else to say about a song, so I prefer to keep such simple comments to myself and out of the thread. I don't post one liners about the music because I like the posts from people who can contribute better then me.

If the discussion you start is engaging enough, people will participate. Just don't take offense when somebody who isn't engaged posts some images or gifs.

Are you really arguing over my use of the word "kpop" instead of "music"? I clearly meant the thread in general and how it works.

And like others have said kpop is far more popular than anything else so it's going to dominate, but I have no problem with anyone discussing other music. Found some great songs that way.

Most if not all pics are photoshopped anyway, but even photoshop can't save her. Apart from that she makes every new t-ara song less good simply because she has to have a random (sometimes if not most of the time, english) rap break.

god I wish they would just kick her out but there is little chance of that.
