S1 had this spark of uniqueness, but in a dialogue-heavy show it's hard to maintain that level of creativity throughout. I woulda been happier with just pure fanservice for Monogatari S2. | ||

Like I said, I can tell you that I liked s2 more than Bakemonogatari and A LOT more than Nisemonogatari. Way more focus on the dialogue again, way more getting trolled by author (which I absolutely loved) and the increased budget and better animation (which are, together with KitaEri the only real two strong points I can think of for Nisemonogatari) admittedly helped as well. | ||
