I never said that i can't watch DxD for the fanservice just because there are shows with better fanservice out there? I think you might've misunderstood what i said or maybe i just wasn't clear enough. I said that the fanservice isn't why i'm watching DxD and i also said that there are shows with far better fanservice out there. That doesn't at all mean you can't watch DxD for the fanservice just because then you should simply be watching a show with better fanservice, it was just a statement that i believe that as far as fanservice goes there are way better shows out there. If i thought you should only watch the best there is and nothing else then i would just be rewatching 1 anime for each genre over and over. I genuinely enjoy DxD for the characters and fantasy elements/battles and because it as a story isn't too serious, i don't consider the plot or any of the overarching stories or arcs to be too compelling but that doesn't necessarily bother me because seeing more of the world and fantasy elements/battles + character interactions is what i'm primarily there for. I'll gladly admit however that the fanservice is what got me to watch the first season of DxD, it's however not why i watched season 2 or am now watching season 3 and it's not why i'm still reading it and keeping up to date. But i still enjoy it(fanservice) a lot and i believe it adds to the rom-com elements greatly in DxD, and obviously removing the fanservice from DxD would indeed ruin a lot of the comedy and overall fun parts of the show since the fanservice is so heavily tied in to the plot in various forms such as unlocking Balance Breaker and various other things. I, however, am just watching it for its boobage, and the elements surrounding such boobage.  And yes, there are other shows with better fanservice, but if you've already seen 'em all then there really isn't anything wrong with just watching DxD just for its fanservice. But then again there are shows that I have yet to see that are purportedly better than most of the stuff I watch these days. So yeah still don't understand the initial logic.
