This thread had hit 4chan status like a year ago though, not sure what makes you complain now  and be happy you aren't like us light novel/VN readers who never see the good stuff animated (Though I am not quite going to complain about OreImo since it was an enjoyable read, if only because of its simplicity and lack of pretension to be any more than what it is). Besides, if we are going to have gifs, I'd rather see OreImo than the Guro content from Shiki~ | ||

Or oh hi who read Nekomonogatari (shiro)? Apparently the Koreans translated the whole thing within like a week of it releasing. Insane. and I am still putting off reading it because I can't muster up the energy to care about Hanekawa, even after kuro. | ||

But yeah, stuff like that is rare and serious discussions even rarer. With the fotm being OreImo and similar shows being the respective fotm in the last couple of seasons, it isn't exactly surprising that Shauni and Lucumo would voice such a sentiment. Whatever they contribute, should they even try, really won't be discussed at all and will simply be buried under another wave of posts spurred by another OreImo or Index release as we talk about Kirino and Misaka. I just consider myself fortunate that I can still seem to enjoy discussions of that kind. /shrug | ||

We have the School Days talk coming back every 2 weeks or so. Someone mention Clannad/Kanon every 2 weeks or so and we all go crazy. Every 3 days, someone ask for recommendation and it's always the same damn thing. Every week, we go insane over the anime of the moment (this season OreImo, a few seasons ago Angel Beats, and before that Kampfer). Sometimes Mystlord and Shauni rant about how bad everything is and it's always fun. Etc etc. I love you all guys!  | ||

See, there's a lot of variety. On a more contribute-y note, I finally started LoGH, yay :D Edit -- and given that oreimo seems to be the most watched show this season, I don't think it's that surprising/bad that the day after an episode comes out people are babbling about it. I mean, that's what people do after an ep comes out. In oreimo's case, it just happens that there are a lot of people watching. | ||
