BTW, anyone know where I can get the PC port of Bisei-tokei R? I think it was a Chinese port. Found a torrent for it but can't get anything.
I got earlier version... but no Minorin (R doesn't have Tanaka Rie, but... trade offs)

Thoughts/worries/whatever regarding the anime adaption of Little Busters:
+ Show Spoiler +So, since this is based on a visual novel where we have the common route, different routes for each female character and finally refrain, in a setting that allows "resets" to the start of the timeline, with Riki and Rin supposed to grow stronger and more independent with each reset, I've been thinking a bit about how one would adapt it. As a result, I have a few questions popping up in my head:
1: How many times will we see the collecting of members for the team, etc - the "common route" part of the visual novel? A lot of events leading up to the character specific routes happen during this time, but repeating exactly the same events might get boring in an anime adaption (whereas in the visual novel you might just ctrl/skip it). Maybe we won't see a "full" reset like in the vn, but we should see something close to it. No way in hell would a Clannad like adaption be warranted.
2: Rin1 included on its own or slapped together with rin2? In my own playthrough of the visual novel, I went with rin at first, and rin1 was annoying with its unexpected sudden ending. At the same time, I felt like it was a pretty good hook for me, with "the secret of this world", and the different tasks.
3: Route order. Start off with the less fantasy heavy routes (Komari, Haruka, maybe place Rin1 before those), then moving on to the ones that have more fantasy/"key magic"/clues that something being odd about the world (Kud, Mio, Kurugaya), and finally rin2->refrain.
4: Kurugaya - normal end or "true" end unlocked after refrain? Personally I'm hoping for normal end, "true" end just feels like it's an afterthought thrown in for Kurugaya fans.
Thoughts? These are the things that worry me a bit, I wouldn't be terribly worried about J.C Staff doing the adaption if we just had a regular from point A to point B story, but I can see them fucking something like this up.
PS: Being a Rin fan I want a single piece of original content, and that is a god damned Riki + Rin kiss. I really wanted that in the vn but it never happened ):
PSS: I have a feeling I might rant a lot in this thread in October and onwards...

Honestly, the first episode isn't even confusing. It's 2-5 or something like that that makes you go "wtf is going on", if I remember correctly. ~6 and after is at least somewhat close to something mildly reminding you of comprehensible.

Eca Uta rants are pretty useful, although if your reasonably well educated enough in history and willing to do a bit of research on your own its not to massively difficult to grasp, atleast as far as the anime is concerned.
Maybe more work than its worth for someone who has absolutely no idea whats going on though.

Well thing with Horizon is how it uses history then throws in that extra twist, basically how bungaku shoujo does it with books. It just happens that because of the settings in horizon and the author's style one tends to need to throw in a lot more extra explanation to make it work.
