I dont think Id like it if I saw it again. And Friends the show ? I think I probably remember every dialogue. Slayers is up there with Yu Yu Hakusho for me.

For example, steins gate also has a lot of 'moe' elements and characters and you call it moe anime? when the entire premise of an anime is moe. K-ON, lucky star, etc. Steins Gate also has some funny moments, but you wouldn't call it a comedy right? It's not moe either just because of a few examples.

E: Moe anime as opposed to anime with moe elements, which LS most certainly has.

I'm not mistaking it with anything, but rather it seems we have different opinions on the definition of moe, although of course I agree that the main component of LS is comedy. However, I still view moe as a large part of the premise of LS. (A poor choice of words on my part when I said entire premise). The reason is that the characters display moe characteristics throughout the entire anime. If a show's main characters are moe enough of the time, I would label the show as moe. Also you're right about the gray area because moe anime does almost require to be combined with SoL and comedy to exist. In my opinion, I just don't feel you can categorize LS with "anime with moe elements" because it just has so much of it. If you were in the mood to see some moe would you be satisfied with LS? I think yes, though there are better choices.

Ok maybe Miyuki is kinda the moe you can like. K-On I just couldnt stand. So its hard to say how much moe makes it moe. . I guess its what you think is moe really. If you find something cute or feel its trying to be cute your going to call it moe. I agree that anyone would be satisfied with the level of moe in LS though. Also I think LS does a pretty good job of pretty much telling you straight up where the Moe is. The grey in it is a bit less. Pretty much to the point of calling it out as satire.

Also since moe isn't a real genre, so it's subjective to all kinds of bias and opinions.

At that point, everything becomes a subjective grey area where it's up to the individual to make of it what they want. How much "comedy" constitutes a comedy? How much "drama" is needed to be a drama? And so on. Trying to just say "Oh, this show is moe" doesn't really mean anything, much like saying "Oh, this show has romance". I dont think so. Just because an action show that has romance doesnt make it romance, doesnt mean everything has to be interpretive. It becomes pretty clear based on the kind of plot and behaviour developement what the genre is. Moe might fall into this "grey area" most other stuff doesnt really.
