We will probably be left with many questions that I wanted answered 3-4 years ago unanswered, but I don't care anymore. Exactly who is Ichigo's dad, his mom, etc? What is the Soul King, why do they not help Soul Society at all? What are all the bankais? Shit that the author probably forgot about by now.

A quick, random arc that seems completely thrown together. We will probably be left with many questions that I wanted answered 3-4 years ago unanswered, but I don't care anymore. How did Kubo manage to fuck everything up as badly as he did? Everything about the last 2 arcs has been idiotic and rushed.

I know Bleach had a lot of haters all throughout but to me everything was anywhere from solid to amazing up until Aizen's defeat. How did Kubo manage to fuck everything up as badly as he did? Everything about the last 2 arcs has been idiotic and rushed. It seems like Kubo had a very solid idea of what he wanted to write up until the end of the SS arc. He probably had a full outline for the entire arc in his head or possibly even written down before he even wrote the first chapter. So all the pieces fit together reasonably well and the story flowed well. It is quite possible that in the initial outline Ichigo was supposed to defeat Aizen and end the series there, but the series was really popular and thus Kubo went for another option to extend the series: Aizen escapes to Hueco Mundo. At that point, the series really started to break down in consistency and pacing, but at least there was still a very clear end-goal: defeat Aizen. Kubo had probably mulled the original outline (for SS arc) around in his head for years to get it to where it was, but this new outline had a much shorter time period and thus was a lot rougher. The only clear thing is that Aizen must lose. So he got through that arc and used up the original bad guys in the universe (the hollows) to pull it off. Seriously, when the main character loses his powers to defeat the final bad-guy, the series is over. All that's left is a quick wrap-up where the people promise to see each other again someday. Unfortunately, the series was still popular enough that it still warranted a spot in the magazine and thus they decided not to end the series even after Aizen was defeated. So then Kubo probably had to scramble to figure out a way to give Ichigo his powers back and also create a new bad-guy that could threaten the people who already vanquished the most powerful of the original monsters. And thus you get these final two arcs that probably were never meant to be.

Maybe the pressure of having to be popular for the 12-13 year old boys that read this and maintain his magazine rankings just tired him out... I mean just look how lazy his art is nowadays (no backgrounds, lots of white).

Oh well, as long as Kenpachi gets a bloody death it'll be good. Like I said, and like he kind of showed with the dead quincy on his back, this is the perfect battle for him. No bankai to seal away=D

It's actually more amusing to pay attention to the less popular yet older characters, because they tend to be a lot more nuanced.

Reason why they cant steal ichigo bankai is because he half quincy or some stupid unexplained plot hole that will never be known because Kubo will troll us to the end. Pure speculation but I got a feeling this is going to answer everything.

This would also explain why Ichigo dad quit being a shinigami because he couldnt forgive the soul society for killing his wife and annialating the quincy . This would also explains why Ichigo entire family have high spiritual senses (due to quincy blood). Grand Fisher never existed. Ichigo mother is with the quincy. Why did Aizen help the quincy? It was so that he could form an momentary truce between the quincy and the hollow to allow him to create his arrancer army. There you go, all plot hole solved. Every plot hole can be filled in with Aizen Shikai.

Next thing you know, everybody is in a VR world but in reality, are swimming in nutrient broth to serve as energy sources for a machine world.
