My answer to this is Aizen Shikai causing an illusion. Grand Fisher never existed. Ichigo mother is with the quincy. Why did Aizen help the quincy? It was so that he could form an momentary truce between the quincy and the hollow to allow him to create his arrancer army. There you go, all plot hole solved. Every plot hole can be filled in with Aizen Shikai. But that would introduce wayyyyy too much bullshit. Next thing you know, everybody is in a VR world but in reality, are swimming in nutrient broth to serve as energy sources for a machine world.

you guys do know that the quincy that sided with the shinigami only stalled hollows and didnt kill them and the divisions took their time getting there so the quincy would die... that was in a flash back to ishida's grandfathers death along time ago... could anyone find that by chance what chapter or episode in the anime?
I would love an explanation on ichigo, what actually happened to him after the whole losing his power arc... He seems so weak, but everyone puts him up there as the hero and yet he hasnt used or has access to the old powers he had..

your wrong on one thing, waht happened to uryus ganpappy was unique it was the science freak paying off shinigami and setting hollows on him in order for him to get killed
aside from Uryus family (for some completely unexplained reason) every quincy was killed, there were no Quincys (aside from Uryus family(?)) that sided with the soul reapers

I think the special thing about Kenpachi as a character is that we'll never see him use his bankai.

Oh my god lol, apparently Tite Kubo fell ill and wasn't able to draw anything this week.
So yeah. At least for now, we won't get to see whether Kenpachi finally making his appearance will end with him doing something we actually see or whether he'll get roflstomped by the big baddie.
Hope Kubo gets better though.
