"death god"), a military order who escorts the souls of the dead, named Rukia Kuchiki in teenager Ichigo Kurosaki's bedroom. She is surprised at his ability to see her, but their conversation is interrupted by the appearance of a "hollow", an evil spirit who was originally a human soul. After Rukia is severely wounded while trying to protect Ichigo, she attempts to transfer half of her reiatsu (霊圧?, lit. "spirit pressure") to Ichigo in order to let him face the hollow on equal footing. Ichigo unintentionally absorbs almost all her energy, allowing him to defeat the hollow with ease. The next day Rukia appears in Ichigo's classroom as a seemingly normal human, and informs Ichigo that his absorption of her powers has left her stranded in the human world until she recovers her strength. In the meantime Ichigo shelters Rukia in his home and takes over her job as a Soul Reaper, battling hollows and guiding lost souls to the afterlife realm known as Soul Society (尸魂界(ソウル·ソサエティ), Sōru Sosaeti?). dear god- why do all the shitty anime get so much attention? Bleach and Naruto specifically. I just don't get it. Art work is sub par- story is sub par, no character development...... nothing. Just story arcs that a monkey could think of.

I don't know why I read the bleach manga or watch the anime anymore.
I hate so much about it. And yet I still pull myself through bad episode after bad episode somehow each week.
Thank god I avidly watch better anime.

Bleach was actually good up to episode 25 or 30. After that, they stopped writing any story at all and just made up a fight scene, then played it in slow motion while cutting it up into 10 pieces and calling each piece an episode. I didn't realize how bad it was until I started watching Hellsing OVAs and Cowboy Bebop.

bleach is almost as bad as the naruto episodes up from ~60

All the filler shit in Bleach is crap, but I enjoy the actual anime a lot.
Episode 1-61 are very good (very good character development imo, history of Abarai/Rukia comes to mind after Abarai's fight with Ichigo). Then comes the Bounto saga which blows, then comes the Hueco Mundo saga which is good again, then comes more filler crap with the sucking-out-your-life-katana's and then it becomes good again with the Hueco Mundo saga.
Right now they're showing the start of Aizen's plan 100 years ago to dominate etc. and where the Vaizards originated from (never knew they were actual captains before) which is really good imo.

If you are constantly catching up with other 2 shonen jumps, bleach is garbage. Fillers of useless battles, and chitchats during battles.

Uiquiorra ass raped Ichigo more than couple time; Ichigo used hallow mask and his best move still wasnt good enough.
Uiquiorra then released himself, telling Ichigo to give the fuck up, after 3 more chapters of this constant bullcrap. Ichigo got pierced in the heart and reborn as some wtf new hallow.

Yeah, same (minus the anime, just manga). But atleast it takes about 30 seconds to flip through the manga. It's usually 3 lines of text, then 3 pages of a guy screaming or transforming or something

The part where they show the Vaizard's past was pretty good, but right after that, when they get back to fighting, it'll get lame

I usually don't watch shonen crap that never ends like Bleach, but I actually started watching it recently and I kind of like it. I got to ep 15 so far, which is a lot farther than I got with Naruto or One Piece or any of those other popular, shitty shonen. The fights don't take 10 episodes yet and there's no filler so far...
