Just watched Mulholland Drive since many people were raving about it. I had a heartattack when + Show Spoiler +
the fucking creepy hobo guy came out of the wall behind the diner. What the fuck man. My heart almost popped out of my chest. That has got to be one of the creepiest thing ever. Then came the lesbian scene.. like wtf was that. whole movie was kind of trippy. if you watch it when you are high it must be really cool for sure. ROFL
I watched Paranormal Activities 3 with a bunch of friends (I'd never seen any of the Paranormal Activities before) and then decided to go watch the other two. I still haven't seen the first one, but the ending of the second one was a bit disappointing.

It' just really a different kind of movie and some with either hate them or love them. It helps a significant ton to actually watch them in order (or reverse order since it would be like watching them grow up).
It was fun, but not very believable. The pacing was decent. The acting was decent, mostly. The russian antagonist was terrible- not well acted or scripted.
Overall there were no real huge flaws, but there was nothing great about it either. Mildly entertaining. 5/10
^ Limitless was the one movie that had the immense potential on its back but yet utterly failed to deliver them.
One must expect much more opposition to the protagonist. It seemed everything was going right to his ways and was unstoppable. First 30 minutes of the film = awesome introduction of the premise but alas it couldn't continue to stay impressive.

Yeah, I think the opposition was one of the bigger things holding the movie back. The two most troublesome villains(the russian thug and the stalker) were not believable or exciting. They were both just goons that you knew weren't going to stand a chance in the end

but a good film if there is nothing else to do.
I agree, the plot unfolded in a way that was too predictable. I think the one thing that could have saved it would have been some brilliant twist by protagonist's to smooth everything out for himself in the end, in a creative way. But instead they played it standard and went with the obvious "i used the genius pills to learn how to wean myself off the pills, and keep the benefits at the same time". I just felt like a cop out

Dude I LOVE Mulholland Drive! Did you know Lynch gave 10 "questions" to help you understand the movie? Watch it again and try answering. Very hard, but very rewarding, if you get some right
Here we go:
1. Pay particular attention in the beginning of the film; at least two clues are revealed before the credits. 2. Notice appearances of the red lampshade. 3. Can you hear the title of the film that Adam Kesher is auditioning actresses for? Is it mentioned again? 4. An accident is a terrible event...notice the location of the accident. 5. Who gives a key, and why? 6. Notice the robe, the ashtray, the coffee cup. 7. What is felt, realized and gathered at the club Silencio? 8. Did talent alone help Camilla? 9. Note the occurrences surrounding the man behind Winkles. 10. Where is Aunt Ruth?

What they should have done was for Bradley Cooper's character to trace the roots of drugs only to discover there are MANY more of the users out there. And then he have to somehow compete with all of them. Meanwhile, he is fighting to keep his mind sane from the side effects of the drug.
I thought it would be like a better version of Fight Club.
The expendables was pretth boring imo. I have completely outgrown stupid actionmovies with no interesting story. I kinda stopped watching after Dolph Lundgren was killed. Really hoped he and Sylver would have a "boxing fight" for all times sake.
