By the title you know it's going to be terrible but there were no better movies and I was feeling down. Acting 5/10 unbelievable scenes. Random people standing up, bad fight scenes. Sound 3/10 Bane has a cool accent. Too bad I can't tell a word he's saying in the movie. Writing 3/10 not sure if Christopher Nolan ever read batman comics or watched the cartoons. Ras Al Ghul has been alive for a few years and was a mercenary until recently. Ok. Catwoman comes back at the most opportune time. Uhuh. And the twist. THE TWISTS. + Show Spoiler + The woman is actually Ras' daughter. DUNHDUNHDUNH. Pretty hard to tell it wasn't Bane when he got his scars in the prison and Ras' heir escaped before getting them. Also interesting that she would sleep with her father's murderer because... throw him off. Yeah. yeah. And the whole thing about getting his fingerprints. That had huge relevance to the storyline because they obviously used it to... cross reference with prints from batman's hands through his gloves... that he dropped some time 10 years ago. Nolan tried to adapt the batman storyline because who needs the stick to fundamental character traits when you have creativity such as that. Feels like they're squeezing money as best they can. They try to hide it behind some sort of, what will be described as, "deep" and "intelligent" social commentary. by some Overall score. 3/10? 4? I do not think you are a troll or a hipster. I do however think that this review is pretty awful. All I needed to read was the third line. I am not a professional on the matter but from my knowledge if one is going to give a review of something it is best to being with a cool, unbiased, mindset. I could go on about how you really provide little substantial evidence except for the twist and "Random people standing up" but I am not. If you go into anything thinking it will suck, chances are it probably will suck. Also: On August 23 2012 12:10 exKid wrote: plane stupid Don't mean any disrespect but it gave me a chuckle.

I was a bit tired and rushed when writing my review. The movie did have many random unnecessary scenes though that just were silly. Like when + Show Spoiler + Bane is about to enter the stock exchange and two guys outside scoff at the janitor. That contributes nothing to the film. Batman's scruffy voice always seems out of place and almost comical. But this time around there were just like 10x as many scenes that seemed comical. Like when the police are rallying to fight the bad guys in a head to head confrontation. It was comical that people were bringing batons to a tank fight. The scene where the woman says she prefers Robin's real (middle) name seemed out of place because the acting on the part of the receptionist was just bad. There were just a lot of facepalm situations where people did random things. At the end Robin yells at the marine saying that he's killed them all when he's blown up the bridge, then later he hypocritically yells at the preacher for telling the kids they're going to die. That's what I meant to say by "random people standing up" -_-. Overall I felt the movie was pretty bad compared to the original and sequel. I didn't think the original or sequel were that great either, but this third movie just seemed really terrible. It did what matrix 3 did to the original matrix in my opinion. I didn't like how 3 months just passed when winter came. It seemed very random. The movie could have done without having Gotham suffer for 5 months before Batman came back to save them. If the point of having the city suffer was to have some sort of social commentary then it failed at that too. I mean I get that the point of having the people in charge of Gotham is supposed to bring back memories of the wall street riots. But the movie doesn't delve any deeper than that. It just shows that Bane's weird courtroom is evil because it sentences everyone born wealthy to death. It's hipster to hate things that are liked by the majority and it's also logical to dislike bad movies. I thought this was a bad movie.

I disliked most of the xmen movies and clips of movies I've seen. I did however enjoy first class and felt that had a good storyline and good acting. I don't remember the xmen movies well enough to rate them again but I do seem to recall they were pretty terrible too. Avengers was another decent movie. ![]() My friend had some pre screening tickets this movie and invited me and my gf. I went kind of as a last minute thing, mostly at my gf's insistence. I was really pleasantly surprised. I laughed my ass off watching this movie, and Ari Graynor, who I've never seen before, was absolutely fantastic and totally made this movie. The general premise is two girls living in New York have a downpoint in their lives and are forced into a roommate situation with each other. Their gay friend, played excellently by Justin Long, sort of throws the two together. The two actually hate each other after their first ill fated college introduction, but have no choice other than each other. Ari Graynor is sort of a free spirit, extrovert while the other girl, Lauren Miller, is a bit of a boring prude. They both need income and employment and after Lauren discovers Ari's character is working for dirt pay at a phone sex hotline proposes going into business together to make their own. It works out and brings the two together and then the movie takes off. TL DR It's the female equivalent of a Bromance movie. A little in the Bride's Maid mold, but less explicit and slap sticky, with more sexual innuendo and substance. Nothing overly deep, but a good story and chracters, with some sharp humor. Definitely recommend, but it's not something you need to rush out to the theatres to go see.

As well as the aforementioned points, the Bane vs Batman fights were like 3 seconds long and plane stupid. The mask's obviously there fore a reason, why didn't he just hit it the first time? I mean he had his anti-limp leg band on so he was good to go. Film was pretty dumb in places, obvious story and twists. Good for an action flick but still a mediocre film in general. + Show Spoiler + Or, if you disagree with me then I must be trolling, it's tha best film eva!!!!!1111!111111oneone!1!!111oneoneelven!!!!1 1,000,000 out of 10 :| He starts out by saying he knew it was going to be bad because of the title, as well as completely misunderstanding a plot point. Need I say more? Whatever, I will. When someone posts a review this negative on what is pretty much a universally well-reviewed movie, you can pretty much bet it's for one of two reasons. A. The Hipster. You don't like anything that is popular, and you're proud of it. I saw the twist before it came? Bad movie. A scene was a little unbelievable? Bad movie. Universally well-liked? Bad movie, panders to retards and common movie-going trash, is about a deep as Kim Kardashian's talent pool. You just don't GET it, guys, how can you not see how intellectually shallow this ENTERTAINING movie about a SUPERHERO is?? B. The troll. The contrarian. Similar to the hipster, but you do it purely for the rise you get out of people who respond to you angrily. You don't really dislike the movie, but you forced yourself to just so you can be the guy who speaks up in groups talking about the movie, and tell people it's trash, just because it makes people mad, and makes you feel superior. I'm betting on the hipster. I could also go with, "posted an honest review, and just didn't like it", as option C, but he started the review by bashing it based on the title, so I know not to actually take him seriously.

![]() Too long (what's with this kind of movie being over 2 hours), not quite funny enough to be very memorable, but it was decent, I could get into the main character's story and issues--which is important because the second half becomes very drama/character struggle heavy, more so than I expected and less over the top than I expected.

![]() The Raid: Redemption Terrible across the board. Fight scenes were OK in the beginning, but then they became repetetive, way too long and too numerous. The plot was horrible, predictable and boring. The entire film was pretty boring, I had to force myself to finish it on fast forward since the middle of it. ![]() The Dark Knight Rises Didn't blow my mind. Tom Hardy and Michael Caine were awesome (as usual) but the rest of the cast seemed sub-par. The overall plot was mindbogglingly shallow and the ending was a let down. The only thing I really liked in this movie was how Nolan portrayed the Bane character. The Cat Woman was ugly and un-catly in my opinion, bring back Michelle please.

I recently watched The Devil's Advocate. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118971/ Pretty decent movie. Pacino is very good and has a great end scene. I feel like it was fairly predictable and fell short of being great, but worth the watch.

Well, now my expectation for it just skyrocket from a 6/10 all way up to a 9/10. But I'm sure that it will deliver in one way or the other.
